Wow, cars in Brunei so cheap still want to go for lowest spec? J-spec manual some more? They can easily go for full G spec or S spec straight.

Nissan has been obsessed with Toyota design especially Vios dugong since end 2007. First to copy was Nissan Maxima US on the rear lights. The Almera heavily copied Vios dugong design but only thing is they overdone it with added China cars + phased out Korean 03 cars design fused together so it become very ugly.

The new Vios rear didn't dump the old Vios dugong styling but instead develop it further so it looks like this. Wasted or else the new Vios would have proper look on the front and back. Since it is still sticking to old technology, they get to pass NAP protection for P1/P2 therefore they can price it in the same region as Vios dugong with slight increase.

If they fit new dual VVTi upgraded engine + 6AT in Vios 2013, then they'll loose the privilege and end up selling at over RM90k.

wow,i just know that the reason why vios using old tech due to get pass nap that protect p1/p2. no wonder they use the same old tech all around asean, all bcoz of malaysia nap n p1/p2 protection.

about the certain staff, who do you refering to? so,meaning, across asean, even fta agreement between countries, the intervene of malaysian nap is stronger. even can cheat by non disclose matter. malaysia shud just undisclosed the 300% import tax,n shud not change policy since everything no need to disclose, can cheat under the table. malaysia shud be sued then by other asean countries. now i know the truth :-).

oh malaysia ku

nap was revised in 2009. to make it clear,no hidden in fta agreement coz its a sign agreement between countries, not manufacturers. any undisclosure n wrongly information will be deemed as offend n the country that breaking the agreement will be sued in international court n the country product will be banned n will be penalised as what happened prior 2005, n i do get my info from legitimate source :-).

no wonder toyota managed to grab sales despite overpricing their products. in before, nap, but new one, goodwill :-)

what happened prior 2005 not bcoz undisclosure or breaking the agreement, it happened due to not enter or agree with fta at all. even not agree got penalised. agree but undisclosure, thats mean war.

How on earth a fairer FTA cause Toyota sales to surge despite higher price ??
This is blind bashing !
I don't think we have ever followed the FTA rules or else fake national car like NAZA would not be allowed. Why r we giving special treatment to South Korean car despite we did not sign FTA with them ??
Opps I forgot I saw Cerato advertisement on a famous building which have advertising led all over it..lol..

fta agreement isnt just for afta. fta also include in cept agreement. even cept agreement was signed with japan, korea n many other countries. it does not just for automotive sector, but many more. fta doesnt mean no local tax,jus trading tax impose to other countries products that being ommited while maintaining the same tax treatment as local products.

read carefully my friend on my previous comment,i didnt mention fta causing the surge increase of sales of toyota despite higher price, just that people acceptance of the higher price bcoz of toyota brand n some still blaming the nap or fta or what soever reason to justify the buying of expensive less equip n less safety toyota car, despite other car makers can make it less for more, even at the same price point of toyota.

i just hope toyota can give atleast the same equip car as per rival with their current price offer.

just wonder, which part im bashing fta causing toyota sales soars high even pricing higher due to fta?
