wataniah is not a hard professional army, so it is much lenient
yes can quit anytime, but once you quit you will get a hard time enrolling in back.

Benefits: -Every military personnel will be given their military numbers, ID card (*BATC 20), Military Certificate from Markas Tentera Darat (*TDD)
-Insurances coverage like any other permanent Malaysian armed force corp
-All require equipments will be issued by the government (*i.e.: all types of uniforms - no.4 & 5 clothes for instance, clothes, types of boots, beret, jungle hats, and etc - NOW NEW DESIGN OF UNIFORM WERE BEING RELEASE...quite cool...)
-Free meals during training (*not too bad, quite nice)
-Free medical treatment in govt hospitals and specialist treatment in military hospitals
-For the non-Muslims, they are entitled to purchase 2 crates of beer per month at duty free price at Pernama

Training: -There are 3 types of training:- weekend training (*alternative week in a month), course training (*used to be 3 months, now changed to 1 months for public convenience), annual training (*2 weeks annual camp. Ops of your regiment will be taken over by AW. One week will be dedicated to regimental work and the other week will be focused on either CIW - Counter Insurgency Warfare or CW - Convention Warfare)
-Weekend training usually touch about the basics (*i.e.: infantry, workshop, artillery, communications (semboyan) and ordnance).
-Special training like TTS (*Tempur Tanpa Senjata - Military Martial Art training), shooting or artillery? (*pretty much depend on your camp - for artillery corp only in Taipeng & Melaka)
-Wanna STAY AIRBORNE or wear the maroon beret as 10th Brigade Paratroopers? (*first you must earn yourself as a private before you can go for it...)
