hi can anyone enlighten me on any jobs that a 16yr old can undertake?

why not... go pasar malam and sell stuff lo. sure can earn some extra pocket money. but those big company for sure kenot lo.

not in a big company of coz wat i mean is wether is there any like appropriate job that a high school student can do after school?besides FnB or promoters?

any recommendations around puchong?but if data entry will it be illegal to work as still 16 yr old?

anything that basically doesnt require you to be a diploma/degree holder i guess...

It can be as simple as 'wrapping up stuff' in a company that provides doorgifts to more skill-specific tasks like data entry. Quite a lot of choices, so just go around to see who needs an extra hand. But really, why not F&B? Starbucks barrista for instance.

But you don't get EPF until youre 18 btw. smile.gif

yeah thanks for the help wlcling..so is there any sites i could check online for vacancies of any sorts besides www.thestar.com.my classifieds or jobstreet (which i doubt having any vacancies for 16 yr olds...) ?

I sincerely think you'll have a hard time finding such a job other than F&B/promoter. Unless you have contacts like your relatives that need an extra hand.

I'm just afraid if you work for strangers, you have the possibility of getting 'cheated' due to the fact you're young. For all you know, people can take advantage and boss you around too. Sorry to say but, big companies most probably wouldn't take you in, only China-man type, so you know what type of people you're dealing with...
