I'm thinking of getting this:

Dell™ Axim™ X51v Intel® Processor 624MHz
Integrated WiFi 802.11b and Bluetooth
256MB Flash ROM
64MB SDRAM Memory
Windows Mobile™ 5.0 Software for PocketPCs
(3.7" VGA 480x640!)
RM1,950 (3 years complete cover! throw & get insured)

Any better option for VGA reso. PDA?

HP iPAQ website damn laggin..

Saw the specs....impressive. Hard to think of anything that can match it in that price range. I like the VGA output also.

nope. the x51v has option to upgrade to ati videoa acclerator with 16mb dedicated memory

it has intel GMA with 16mb deidcated memory as standard though wink.gif

and for the price of the exec, i'd rather add another 2k and get myself an ultra-l33t ultra-portable sub notebook which can last for more than 6 hours (pentium-m ULV) and can use ALL x86 program

try running autocad from the exec...

If u really want to get dell axim x51v,its better to extend it to 3 years warranty.
Dell is well known for its good after sales service and support not their products is good quality.

PDA was mean for portable, notebook is for serious

I rather choose under 1.5k PDA for fun than 1.5k laptop, by at least PDA can be safely in my pocket more than PMP player.

anyway back to topic,
Was vga resolution applicable with certain PDA model or can be applicable with any PDA that using WM5 os ?

If your 14 inch CRT is capable of running 2560 x 1600 on Windows XP. Then you can. tongue.gif
