Just got my lime Lumia 620 few days ago, UI are very smooth and no hang or sudden restart so far. These are my findings:

1. There are no phone profile for it, like 'General', 'Silent' or create a custom profile with different loudness and ringtone. WP8 only can switch between 'ring+vibrate' or 'Vibrate'.

2. Theme and background color are really limited. Only 20 colors to choose for theme; Light (white) or dark for background.

3. Glossy back cover look nice, but not practical. Fingerprint everywhere and slippery if your hand is moist.

4. Buttons are fine. Some forumer complain about the shutter button, but I find it OK, tactile enough.

5. Been using Whatapps for 2 days, so far so good (didn't try the voice feature though).

6. Short battery life. On full charge with unnecessary stuff off, Wi-Fi only will last a day, 2G only last 3/4 day, 3G didn't test but should be worst.


I would recommend it if the battery perform much better...

Anyone using third party battery with larger capacity? How was it?

You mean the Amber update pack? Hopefully they have add flexibility to the theme colors.

I did got a coat for it, too bad the funky lime yellow green color got covered up.

Let's see if I encounter Whatapps crash or not la... hehe

Is anyone out there able to use the Data Sense? It is for tracking data usage. I can't find it in my phone, and WP8 forum said it is Telco dependent.
I'm using Digi Prepaid Plus, but will switch to U Mobile UMI 18 soon.

An update on my Lumia 620 after 1 week plus of ownership. These are my findings.

1. Battery life improved. On the third charge, it managed to last 2 days plus with light usage (around 30 minutes of combined usage time). 2G during office hour, Wi-Fi at home, and Wi-Fi off when sleeping.

2. SMS or other notification sound are limited to a preset selection of sound. Custom sound not possible.

3. No option to switch QWERTY keypad to 3x4 keypad.

4. No option to copy contact to SIM card, a really basic feature that should be available.

5. Closing apps can be arduous. Should have ability to close apps in multi task screen (hold back key), rather than resume the apps to close it.

I already sound off these complaint/idea in http://windowsphone.uservoice.com/ , do sound off if you find certain feature or idea should be in WP8.

Tip: When submitting idea in User Voice, search for similar existing idea in the site first, then vote for them. Only submit your new idea if similar one are not found.
