LOL, Lumia 620 is made in Finland? A little surprising as all those news said Nokia is trying to cut cost and even Lumia 920 is made by Foxconn (IIRC, do correct me if I am wrong, thx).

QUOTE(KannaSai1 @ Dec 30 2012, 11:43 AM) Although at $250 the Lumia 620 is the cheapest Windows Phone 8 by far, if you have $50 extra, you could get a higher-end phone, unlocked. The Google Nexus 4 is $300 contract free, has a larger 4.7-inch high-resolution screen, a better camera at 8MP, 2GB of RAM and a quad-core processor -- so unless you want a Windows Phone 8 specifically, the Nexus 4 is a better option for a just that extra $50. only if it is "so cheap" here...nexus 4 so cheap. |

I installed "TouchTest" and I noticed that something is not right compared to my old HTC Mozart.
At first I thought it is program incompatibility or some software problem. But after pay a visit to here, then only I know that there are a lot other users also faced same problem... BTW, is the autofocus locking functioning "normally"? Cause I noticed that my unit always failed to lock focus (I tried on macro) accurately. |

QUOTE(godhpf @ Feb 24 2013, 12:12 AM) Not sure, being worry that if RMA it will took forever like your case, so I guess better live with it till Nokia or Nokia.MY come out with a solution to it. BTW, do your unit having the autofocus lock problem like what I mentioned just now? It is like the camera is focusing, but it didn't stop at the sharpest point but always off-focus. This make almost all the picture I taken blurry... This post has been edited by Human10: Feb 24 2013, 12:17 AM |

QUOTE(godhpf @ Feb 24 2013, 12:29 AM) I think more people need to make more noise. Otherwise they will never improve. Both also fail to focus properly. I can't remember whether mine has that autofocus issue or not. Did you touch the screen to snap or press the camera button? But seeing the picture sample from GSMArena and Kannasai's sales thread, it make me wondering if it is only isolated case that bordering my unit... QUOTE(more2teayap @ Feb 24 2013, 01:25 PM) the focus distance for macro must be around 5cm from the object, normal focus quite ok, just abit slow. I tried from 5cm to over 10cm. All failed to focus sharply. The autofocus focusing (slowly) and always lock after the sharpest point(or sometimes doesn't even lock). |

QUOTE(briantwj @ Feb 26 2013, 05:10 PM) Guys, may I know how long ur battery can last after a full charge? Impressive enough for a 1300mAh on 3.8" dual core phone I will say.Interested to buy the Lumia 620, but the 1300 mah battery is a worrying factor. Just that it somehow also suffered the same problem like it's brothers/cousins (Lumia920), the phone become hot at random time and the battery simply drained like water flow, LOL. Apart from that, the battery really quite durable for 1300mAh. This post has been edited by Human10: Mar 1 2013, 01:05 AM |

QUOTE(ahK @ Mar 1 2013, 08:15 AM) I noticed that but it wasn't listed as one of the known network. So i can't delete it. if you can detect some WiFi but some not. Then probably mean that your modem is set to channel larger than 11.Still wondering why others' can just me cannot. Even my laptop can detect and connect. hmm.....??? Simply log into the modem and change the channel to a fixed channel less than 11 and the problem should be solved. |

QUOTE(afis34 @ Mar 2 2013, 03:39 AM) How long to charge the nokia lumia from 20% to 100%? It's worth to buy new nokia lumia 620 or iphone 4 16gb 2nd? I'm interested on this phone, bcoz yesterday i test it at nokia store at mines. Superb for the price. The demo units won't had multitouch problem, since it is plugged in and charged at all time, lol...Also, my unit's camera seems to had problem to focus properly, thus taking much inferior picture compare to what I tried with demo units. |
