Hi guys! I've asked this previously and will ask this again, what data usage monitor app is you using? I can't seems to find a reliable one... I know Nokia have this Counter app, but apparently it's not official yet no? Will really appreciate your feedback.
Thanks in advance! Btw, I just bought mine yesterday~ pretty nice I would say~ |

Guys, I really need some "light" over here~ I have mobile data connection, it's switch on while I am connected to my home Wifi. I understand that WP8, when it's sleeping, it'll turn wifi off ( i know it there is a setting that can keep Wifi on), my question is, will my data connection kick in and take over while the wifi is turn on?
I ask this becoz i happen to missed out a few Whatsapp message... I only got it after I chrck my phone. It's a lil annoying if u ask me. Hope you could help~~ ^^ |

QUOTE(Boldnut @ Jan 30 2013, 08:52 AM) hows the battery life of this 620? I would say short. Approximately 9 hours with normal Whatsapp usage, some browsing, metrogram, Rowi (twitter) and Facebook usage. I'm thinking of getting 1800mAh sun global battery after a week of usage if this continues... >< which category it falls under compares to the smartphones in the market. Extra Long Long Average Short Very short Overall it's a good phone with a few areas of improvement though~ |

QUOTE(Boldnut @ Jan 30 2013, 09:33 AM) lol sun global is just 500mAH more, it is barely more than 40% more. XD well, for that 500mAH more, hoping that it will at least give me few more hours of usage~ *shrugs* who knows~ I wish there are battery kits that include a phone back cover so we can fit a much bigger battery. I dont mind have 0.4mm thicker if battery life is gonna be double or triple. QUOTE(Maxieos @ Jan 31 2013, 12:15 AM) Well, after about 3 days of using it, battery seems to be better~ it gave me about 12 hours (the last 20% on hardcore gaming, and browsing) instead of 9 hours on my first and second day. Will continue to observe it~ Just want to ask, is it really okay for me to leave my phone charging overnight? The seller told me that latest phone charger/phone will stop charging when it is fully charged. And it seems like the case as when I check my charger in the morning, it isn't warm as compare to when it is charging the phone. Thanks! |

QUOTE(gfish213 @ Jan 31 2013, 09:36 AM) QUOTE(uus831 @ Jan 31 2013, 01:05 PM) Where did you get the 1800mAh battery? Which model from the sunglobal website? Cant seem to find for Lumia 620. Well, I have not buy the battery yet, still in consideration. Need to see how will the ori battery perform after a week first~ But I actually asked Clareen from Clareen Gallery, she said that BL 4j can be used on Lumia 620... *shrugs* I've bought battery from her before and I would say it's trustworthy~ Will let you all know once I've decided to buy it and tested it~ Clareen Lumia 620 |

QUOTE(uus831 @ Jan 31 2013, 09:06 PM) Thanks for the info. I will try my lumia battery first, after i get the phone.. Please review it here if you do buy. QUOTE(fazco85 @ Feb 1 2013, 10:52 PM) i wonder if the multitouch issue (discussed a while back) is widespread? also how about the battery? any issues with the nfc? I have no issue on multitouch, so i believe it only affect a certain devices. Update on battery usage, it has been 23 hours since last charge and still have 40% left~ I think the battery is getting better~ XD To be fair, today I have been using it at minimal usage, whatsapp, facebook, twitter, instagram and about 45 minutes of calling. Getting satisfy with the battery~ |

QUOTE(mitodna @ Feb 2 2013, 01:36 AM) drop the phone, like 1 metre, still working ... regarding Skype, you can turn toast notification from setting in Skype. Press on your profile pic on top right, then press bottom right and go to setting.to turn on lock screen notification you'll need to go to phone setting and under lock screen notification. Hope it help~ affected by the multi-touch issue, but, it is minor, as I don't game ..., sigh do note, sometimes whatsapp crash (black screen), and skype don't have notification (unsure where to enable) is Sun Global battery good? Thanks. it is really depends on what you need: plus: 1. nokia drive 2. 699myr 3. sizable internal phone memory, you get more than 3gb++ minus: 1. will miss some great apps: gmail, opera mini i did not install facebook, sync e-mail beside an dormant outlook account for this phone ... (can't comment on those) mom using sun global battery, so far so good |

QUOTE(zero-0 @ Feb 2 2013, 11:49 PM) I think the multi-touch issue depends on the person's finger. well I don't know if this work for u. I'll normally close the tab first and press back soft button, it'll go out right away ~ I have sweaty palm, so it become more obvious. I found there are quite a few update available already. 1 of them is the display+touch which make the phone detect your finger better when you wear gloves. BTW, anyone know how to close and exit internet explorer? I press back button = move to previous page even though I deleted history btw. After one week of using this, my 620 have SOD twice. It happens when the device is a little hot. I know because the soft key is responding when pressing on it, but screen is off. Need to remove battery to start it back. whatsapp sometimes work great, but when on 2g, its not as stable as android's... It'll delay in sending message. |

Hey guys, a quick question - Is everyone in this forum updated 620 to the latest firmware (1307) ? It seems that mine still stuck with 1250... I bought my phone in Msia, but currently at NZ, I wonder if this matter...

QUOTE(JonSpark @ Jan 16 2014, 05:19 PM) H+ appear when I enable data connection, but still cant access internet Hi, I'm not sure if you resolve your issue yet, but if haven't, you can first bring to your carrier center (Maxis, Digi, etc) before bringing it to Nokia service center. I encounter the similar issue last week and the staff in Maxis center did some setting configuration and it's back to normal~ APN configuration all done liao Hope it help~ |
