The Lumia 620 is only equipped with a small battery of 1300 mAh. What a strange idea! Especially seen that the large thickness of the camera, a more durable battery could be integrated
*
It's only a 3.8 inch device. It's not big enough to accommodate a big battery like the 2000mAh in the L720 (4.5").
Also if you want bigger battery, you could use the L520's BL-5J battery (1430mAh).

Personally, I have an extra battery pack I pulled out from an old Nokia C6, so battery life is not a concern to me.

why can't I update my phone to 8.1? I keep pressing on the check updates button and phone is uptodate keeps popping up. D:

The official WP 8.1 is not officially out yet (expect June). However you can get early access to WP 8.1 using the Developer Preview Program

If you want stability, wait for the official update.
If you can't wait to try out the new features in WP 8.1, go ahead and download the WP 8.1 Developer Preview

STEPS TO GET WP 8.1 DEVELOPER PREVIEW :
- Register as developer
- Install Preview for Developer app on your phone
- Run the app and sign in to your account
- Check update (NOTE : There is a small update before the WP8.1 update, so make sure to check twice)

So do you recommend that I try out the developer preview one? there should be no problem updating to the official 8.1 later even when we installed the developer preview right?
*
Most of the problem reported in WP 8.1 is increased battery drain and app problem(Music app is the worst).
As I said before, battery life is not a concern to me since I have extra battery pack and I don't listen music with my phone so I'm happy with WP 8.1.

As for updating to the official one, yes there will be no problem whatsoever. You can update to the official the same way as those who didn't install WP 8.1 Developer Preview. The difference is that you just get the firmware update only while other get WP 8.1 + Firmware update.

Again, here's my advice :
If you want stability, wait for the official update.
If you can't wait to try out the new features in WP 8.1, go ahead and download the WP 8.1 Developer Preview

i notice every time i put my phone on table, it making a sound. i search further and realized it is the system alerts sound. what the point of that sound ? and if it can be changed that would be great
*
Does it sound like this :

If it is, it's means the phone is close to a RFID chip. You can stop the sound by turning off NFC

Anyone notice increased of power usage after upgrade to 8.1?

Previous 8.0 leaving my phone overnight only takes 10% of power (both wifi and data on), now 8.1 overnight will drain me 30% more even I off the data

And the phone getting heat up easily during use

On Lumia Cyan 8.1 or Developer Preview 8.1? If it's DP 8.1, then yes battery drains like there's no tomorrow.
