u use zune or just connect like that only... its not like symbian in old nokia can transfer just drag n drop.. but in lumia must use zune to transfer file

Just found a solution to my problem.

Is because of the SD card! Due to the card is used on other phone (No matter what brand / OS of phone) it makes the file management on the phone becomes conflict. Hence, my PC can't display any files or folders of the phone.

Solution is backup the contents of the SD card and format it using the phone.

This is correct. The confusing point is that the Microsoft Account is named Hotmail by default in the phone. However it can be renamed to anything you like.

Just bought this device from satu gadget (with rebate) this afternoon. Managed to get yellow unit 
total damage about RM649 (RM599 rebate price + RM30 Tunetalk sim + RM20 matte screen protector (got some freebies from the shop oso  )  . So far satisfied with the phone.... after using it for a while..here are some of my thoughts about the phone 

PROS

- Fast, very responsive phone, even at times when changing to one app to another in rapid succession the phone does it quickly. almost no lag (MS hide it very cleverly, replace it with loading screen)

- easy to change cover, just push the camera lens can take it off already, in the future when other covers come out for sale guarantee sell like hotcakes lol. however the headphone jack is embedded with the cover so maybe the cover will cost abit i guess.

-very loud speaker, every call i take/make i can hear the other person very clearly, speakerphone very clear 

-got some nice features like wifi sharing, NFC (havent tried this function yet)

-built in nokia apps very useful (eg nokia drive, but must DL map 1st) free turn by turn offline gps navigation

-gorgeous display~

-ok battery life (have yet to test it thoroughly, but by the looks ofit it can last for some time)

-latest windows phone 8

CONS

- Not enough apps/games, popular apps like instagram, waze, temple run, subway surfers etc are missing from the store, wonder if it'll improve in time

- apps is region restricted (Malaysia store lack quality apps ) 

- phone got hot when doing heavy task (isnt all smartphone like this?)

- cannot make folder to organize apps <--win phone 8 prob

- cannot universal search using the search button <--also win phone 8 prob, if u dont have data plan this button will be useless unless u want to scan some barcode or something

enough complaining~ should u buy it? YES~! nice price and performance for an entry level phone~ glad to be part of 620's family. ~

how the battery life?

I encountered that loading screen during my first day,that was before my first charge.Haven;t seen it since then.
A few other problems about this phone (or WP8) that i;ve come across
-Whatsapp crashes pretty often
-sometimes the phone doesn't shut down when you drag the screen down to turn it off.
Also,battery life is rather disappointing,any tips or tricks to maximize it?

After playing 1 whole day of this phone,

I like...

1. Metro is so cool and smooth !

2. IE10 is better than my expectation

3. Nokia Drive offline gps is freeeeee, no nid to buy those expensive gps software !

4. All the games is in the GAMES section, so ur applist wont too long.

5. Photobeamer is a cool app !

6. Very nice outlook, despite its entry level phone.

7. Build quality is good. Dont look like cheap phone.
BUT...

1. i hate my contact are messing up. Even u filter up fb/skype, ur hotmail still have tons of un-number contact (from ur old msn). its frustrated. The only way(from wat i search from internet) is open another LIVE ID, and sign in with that new ID, so only SIM contact is inside. But then i have to redo all the things i done today.

2. FB app not user friendly.

3. No Instagram !

4. Im not a technology idiot but i cant figure out how to set a playlist from music on sd card. Both native music app and 酷我.

5. Games amount are terribly low. Worse than i expected. Kinda similar like symbian game to me.

6. Whatsapp/Line push notification always doesnt work. Line doesnt have TIMELINE in the app. Tango is not in the market. And nobody on skype, so basically u cant internet call anyone. -.-

7. PPS or any apps, when u want to DL media >100mb, u have to connect to charger, no matter how full ur battery is. Kinda ridiculous right ?

8. My unit have multi touch issue as well. Even 2 point is not stable when not charging.

9. Connectivity shortcut doesnt include GPS on off button. So u have to go deep in the menu to enable it when u nid it. troublesome.

10. Cant NFC with Samsung Note 2. Just sending picture also fail. Sometimes show "The other party cant receiving large file" and sometimes show a empty store url. Android's prob with WP ? or lumia 620's prob ?

11. phone slip from my hand twice. my ex-phone also matte finish but dont have this prob.

Overall, i like this phone, but i wont recommend other ppl to buy window phone, for now. The games and app is really far far behind ios and android and social app like Line, whatsapp is not functioning well...

Nokia wins with a great piece of hardware. Microsoft is still on trial with an unfinished os in need of many improvements.

Really annoying things include:

cannot off the auto rotate

cannot save, edit or delete sim contacts

cannot share a file via Bluetooth without switching Bluetooth on before going to the file

on-screen menu button very poor design choice, fouls the screen content

dunno how to exit music player - hit the volume control shows last song paused

auto hide of battery, signal, WiFi, Bluetooth icons

clock hidden when using browser

Things that impressed me include :

solid, compact and good quality build

great display

good touch sensitivity

very loud - useful for alarm

can take screenshot even of the lock screen

Nokia maps

GPS very fast one

smooth and stable with slowness hidden by screen activity

Tried both auto and close up, both failed to focus accurately.

May be later when I am free I will upload some sample pictures.

Well, I'm consider as light user I guess, mostly I use my smartphone to just call and sms, sometimes will plug in earphone to listen to some songs. For surfing and video I have a tablet for it.

Is the earphone packed in the box good quality? Previously I've been using Sony and Samsung's phone, the earphone out of the box is quite good. How about Lumia 620's?
