Hi Lumia 620 users,

How does the screen size fare for internet usage? (i.e. browsing, email & facebook?). Great, acceptable, or unbearable?

Contemplating to get one, but display units in shop mostly doesnt have sim & cant test these..
*
acceptable, but there are some lags when you zoom in full desktop page with alot of contents.

Is this why Nokia auto-hides the signal icon? You can't even pull it down when using the browser.
*
press the more option button then you'll get it.

ya, window phone really have some seriously irritating bugs.

Music app beside the ridiculous playlist thing, the player cant shake to next song and no button on the handsfree. So even when u wear the handsfree, u have to take out the phone to answer call, or as simple as skip song. So troublesome when driving.

And the alarm/notification/ringtone wont stop when u click any physical button. u hv to take out the phone again. (i think ios and android both can do this)
*
The alarm can be a good thing also, say you plan to wake up earlier than your usual time, you need to be really awake to press on the screen to cancel out the annoying sound.

This Lumia is the best alarm clock I ever had. It's so loud and it doesn't seem to stop ringing if you just ignores it. I haven't been late for work since I got this handset.
*
agree, ios default alarm sound depends on your ringing tone, if your ringing tone is low then your alarm will be low too.

Tried both auto and close up, both failed to focus accurately.

May be later when I am free I will upload some sample pictures.
*
the focus distance for macro must be around 5cm from the object, normal focus quite ok, just abit slow.

My black Lumia 620 is kinda warm while charging, surfing internet and playing music by connecting to hifi.

Does you guys face similar prob?
*
not really a problem, if you place your AA rechargeable batteries into the charger, they will get hot as well, unless it is a super slow charger. surf internet get hot also normal cause it requires processing power.

Hello there... I hope I'm posting this question at the right place... I'm new here and this forum is HUGE... LOL

I just wanna ask, is the camera pod on the Lumia 620 made of glass or plastic? I sometimes just put it into my jeans pocket/toss my phone into my bag/toss it onto the bed and I'm concerned I might scratch it sooner or later.

Thanks smile.gif
*
glass, the anti scratch glass coating is quite durable, my previous 5800 also glass until now also no scratch after 5 years

the ISO and exposure setting is for what ? can teach ?  unsure.gif
*
ISO is the image sensitivity to light, higher = brighter, but result with more noise (red dots) lumia 620 has noise reduction, can get rid alot of the noise, but detail of the image drops (less sharp)

exposure is how much are you going to let the light get into the sensor, higher brighter, but it will result of low shutter, means it will gather more light before saving your image, takes more time, meaning if you hands are shaky, you will get blurry image.

I feel the autofocus is quite slow if compare with other phone. Many scenarios when me n other friends take out phone to take pic and im always the last one to finish taking pic...

And anyone encounter lock/onoff button not responsive ? I face it many times already, after 1 press my screen didnt wake up, hv to wait few sec or press 2-4 times the screen jus awake...
*
Yup, I got that problem as well, I guess WP8 is still not mature yet, there are alot of bugs needed to be fixed.
