I just want to know what is the different between a 2GB/4GB Nano Ipod and a 30GB/60GB Ipod ? I know it's the Bytes...but other than is there any big difference ? The thing is that...i heard that for the 2GB it's selling around 1k out there...and for the 30GB is around 1.3k. If that's the case then why would someone wanna get a 2GB wan ? I mean just add another Rm300 and can buy 30GB liau.

Sorry ar...I am a bit confuse.

did it ever occur to u to check the apple website and compare them?
its always better to find out yourself

anyway, 2gb and 4gb Nano are the same, just a different capacity

30gb ipod video is a little smaller than the 60gb one, very slightly that is
other than that its the same

why would anyone wanna buy the 2gb?
why do u think its called a Nano?
cause its a lot smaller, and as we know smaller gadgets are always more exp than bigger ones

correct me if i'm wrong

hmm.... why would anyone buy the smaller capacity Nano over its big brother? i guess coz it looked a lot cooler.

but then everyone has a different view on what "cool" is all about ain't it?

Video Playback and Bigger Screen for iPod Video and for iPod nano , you have the small form factor , which makes it light and easier to carry around

I think its the 4GB one (the price is somewhat close to a 30GB Video). I would say if you're just into music and you want a cool small device , then go with nano. But if you're thinking of watching videos on the go , then go with Video

If you got the money , then go with Video , firstly , you get 30GB . Second , the big screen looks really cooll. Third , it plays video

rockyphang, i think what you are looking for is a PDA phone. iPod is a mp3 player, and (currently) a video player as well.. If you looking for connectivity, iPods not your device.

IMHO

Ipod Nano vs Ipod Video?
Haha... Basically, both of them serve for different purpose lo..
Ipod Nano is suitable to play MP3 and show photo only.
Ipod Video able to play movie clips as well. With the capacity it has, you even able to drag in whole CD into it, instead of convert it into MP3.
As my opinion, don't compare it with prices. Functionality and quality are the main thing to consider.
No doubt, so far I think Ipod does the best job. thumbup.gif

Okie. I am getting closer already. I think i will be owning my first Nano Ipod within this few days. I saw a girl carrying a Nano Ipod ( if i am not mistaken ) and it's pretty thin. Looks quite unsafe. I mean one drop to the floor and bye-bye. I think i will get a 30GB ...due to more function and able to put in a lot episode of Naruto into it!! tongue.gif

However, i want to say thank you to Lowyat.Net for giving me a chance to know this product better. Would also like to thanks everyone who is willing to answer my stupid question. Luv ya all!!! muak muak muak.

You know what...I am going to upload the photo of my Ipod to this thread once i got it. Btw...Any Malaysian here ? Know anywhere i can find good price. And also i was thinking to buy using some loan plan if possible. I know Court Mammoth is selling the 5GB but it's not apple. I think it's creative or something.

You think iPod nano goes bye-bye that easy

http://arstechnica.com/reviews/hardware/nano.ars/3

Read here...the iPod nano is dooo damn strong...iPods are strong in general..Just take a look , no regerts...Those guys over at arstechnica , tests stuff to the max

As for Installments , I am not sure....Well if you have a Credit Card like MayBank..thats possible to do a installment. If you want cheap iPod prices , please do take a look at those 'Bulks'..I think its 10-15% cheaper then the current market price [of iPods in Malaysia]

Don't u need to convert the DVD/VCD to a video format 1st ie. avi, mpeg then import to iTunes, it'll do an auto convert to the iPod video supported format, which u can copy over to the iPod? I think la
