Yes i do.. once or twice a day... i never turn on my power saving mode..

Added on December 5, 2012, 8:35 amMine USB cable slot to phone are 4 pins... I thought i reverted this  hmm.gif
*
My official Samsung SIII micro usb cable has 5 pins (no gaps seen in pins..), I have another long 2 metre flat cable micro usb that has 5 pins as well (can be used to charge SIII only with 2.1A power adapter) - I think I can see a gap for a missing pin between 3 pins and 2 pins

Original back case in LYP selling for RM70 for white and blue while other colors around RM10-20 more depending on colors
*
Now is not the right time to buy a original battery back cover... The new SIII battery 3000mAH with battery cover should be launched in December right? Should consider that as well...

I got try the multi adaptor that I got, didn't suit
need find other >.<

2 pin charger ??

and higher voltage / wattage sure will harmful for battery lol
like that normally buy note 2 charger seems very cheap, RM 75 with postage
*
I have been experimenting with a (RM40) 4-port usb 2.1A charger as well (as uncle benny says, really a lot faster charging) and AFAIK no harm overcharge as the charger after charging complete is quite cool to touch which I assume to mean once SIII is charged, it no longer draws the charge....

PM me if you need the seller link.

yup..yup..like i said before..refrain from giving false information and stop speculating till we have Samsung official statement.

Second that.
No point worry, just use as per normal (and hope for the best during warranty period) and make sure your backups are up to date (however you do it, nandroid or Titanium Backup etc to ExtSD or PC).

For those those really want to worry, go scare ownselves more at XDA "Ultimate GS3 sudden death thread" brows.gif

Anyone who is running on Poland's 4.1.2, is your Papago M9 still runs properly? It would even start properly most of the time. Just show a blank screen.
*
I have the same problem cry.gif (will be stuck at "PAPAGO! restore" in notifications only)
But on stock official MY 4.1.1

Do Samsung actually replace with refurbished mobo ? Recently had this call issue whereby when u make a call then u don't hear anything n service /signal is lost for a few seconds. After a trip to the SC, they replaced my mobo or at least that is what they said. Now the problem has been rectified however new problem has cropped out. Each day without fail the phone reboots by itself at least 3-4 times and freezes/hangs once or twice everyday. When I checked my version it shows RF cal :2012.6.1 , HW Rev : MP 1.100 .... I suspect either it could be a refurbished mobo or they did not change the mobo at all. I bought my phone somewhere in Jun which corresponds with the 1st batch.

What do u guys think ? Refurbished mobo being circulated ?
*
Certainly possible as warranty fixes does not guarantee new parts replacement... For your issue, should go to SC complain right away. Not everyone who had the mobo changed got newer than 1.1 (e.g. 1.4)

QUOTE(G K Lai @ Dec 13 2012, 11:24 PM)
Actually I am very caution with this, so I always make sure everything was done before unplug from computer. For the most recent MP4 video I copied to the card, I even try play the video without problem.

Even JPG files I save from Android Chrome browser directly to phone memory, then copied to external card, I can still set as wallpaper etc... then once I reboot, it's gone from Gallery (wallpaper still there since the phone seems to convert and save to other location, I guess). Can't find the image anymore even using "My Files" and other file manager app. For a few times, the image files was there, but with 0 byte.

I learn from searching, that, Android filesystem will perform a fsck (filesystem check) on every boot up. So it could be at this stage, my files being treated as "corrupt" and moved to LOST.DIR.  sad.gif

Quick question, is all your copying from phone IntSD to ExtSD done using your pc/notebook? If so, like silenser is suggesting sounds like the file has not completed copy (there is may be some sort of write cache as well as proper disconnect/eject required - may also be usb port/cable is not in good shape). Suggest you copy from IntSD to ExtSD using your phone (use MyFiles or whatever file explorer).

Another option is to use wifi file transfer programs like AirDroid (free) or WiFI File Explorer Pro (paid) to copy from your pc/notebook to phone IntSD. FYI only WiFI File Explorer Pro (paid) can copy to ExtSD.

SamsungApps has app update for SIII (and on Kies as well), account signin still seems down but has new section on "Today's Discount" - quite a few expensive apps (for kids) are now free.

I still prefer to use facebook over mobile browser. Maybe I'm old-timer already and still find facebook app still too intrusive for me.. (and with all the sync it has to do...)

samsung kies for computer ??
I know samsung apps got update
*
Yes, Samsung Kies for PC has a Samsung App store plug-in update. You will only get the update prompt if you have configured the Samsung Apps store in Kies.

I have shared the method before, here it is again
Add in Samsung Apps store to kies

By default the Samsung Kies app is configured to US store which is why it will not work for us in Malaysia as normally your Samsung ID country is set to MY (not US)

One advantage of using SamsungApps in Kies is that you can lock in your game 'purchase' first and then only later go back to the SamsungApps store to download it. (Useful for those limited time offers;such as those limited time FREE huge free apps, which you don't have time to download yet).

On Samsung Kies download folder as well on your PC, you will find a copy of the downloaded APK file which you can transfer to your SIII for installation as well...

Does it FC? If so, try uninstalling some of the apps in the order you installed it? Some apps are really crap and caused my application manager to FC.

Thanks for the heads up.... really have to be even more aware of APKs from untrusted sources now and make sure to read all the permissions required...

Can any rooted users on stock JB 4.1.1 test if SamsungApps is available? The app launches but when click on profile icon (to sign in), there is message "Service unavailable(2000)".

The reason is ask is coz this is happening for a few days now, I wonder if they are disabling access for rooted users like what they did to "Readers Hub" and "Learning Hub"

NFS:MW only need another 600mb of data..... which version are u downloading?
*
600+ MB data is compressed download. It extracts to about 1.8GB so you need more than 2GB to install it successfully!

I did , its good but finger print magnet . Especially when I have oily face , every time answer the phone , it left a mark on the screen . Took it off after 3 days . Comes with with the hardcase anyway so it might be different from if u by on it's own

I am a Nillkin Clear Screen protector user for almost 6 months now. Still as good as new, can't beat rm15 for value. For cleaning from face/fingerprint oil, little water and tissue is your friend... blush.gif

Do you guys face some issues like freezing/hanging on S3? The hang is usually when I try to unlock to answer a call or read sms.
*
This is stock dialer and messaging issue on Samsung stock ROM. It will only be fast once 'loaded' (but IMHO somehow it gets unloaded out of memory again pretty fast); seems that Samsung has still not fixed this issue. If it irritates you too much, only solution is to install 3rd party dialer and messaging app.
