Hmm not using any GO Launcher or Nova Launcher lolx..
I change from live wallpaper to a still wallpaper also due to lag..

As you can see, my phone ram exceeding 700mb, but I still find it manageable. Although they are lags but I still find that is ok. When did you feel the lag? While playing games? Or just merely opening folders?

4.1.2 does support multiview, but not yet come to malaysia.. should be within these few weeks.
rooting the phone doesn't make ur phone become faster, rooting is like clicking "run this as administrator" in Windows. In fact it does NOTHING at all if u didn't take advantage of the "extended permissions" after rooting the phone.
forget about the custom rom for now.. i bet u are too paranoid *no offense but i was once like that* to even flash the original rom.
u can try to uninstall samsung junks/bloatwares to free up some of ur ram though, which can make ur phone more responsive
(of course refer to pg 1 of this thread to see which is considered as bloatwares)
here's some common tips to make ur phone faster:
1. try to go into settings>developers options> under "window animation scale", "transition animation scale", and "animator duration scale", choose animation OFF for all these 3 options.
2. go into S-voice, click menu softkey > setting > untick "open via the home key"

Ya, I have the same thought, rooting is only grant ur phone with root privilege, I guess soon I nid to root my phone, since I might touch some application that require root.. =D
The first 1 is disabled, not able to change anything..
