Hi, would like to ask...

I am currently on 4.1.1 rooted and samsung stock ROM. I have used triangle away to reset status but still labeled as modified and this will not get OTA updates for 4.1.2

How best can I get 4.1.2 updates when its released? I read about downloading samsung 4.1.2 tar file and update via Odin. Is this possible? If I do this, do I need to do a complete backup and then restore with Titanium backup OR flashing stock rom via Odin will not erase your existing app and data (much like OTA updates). Thanks

Ok, assume I m willing to lose root, can you advise on the steps to take to update 4.1.2? Better to use PC Odin or Kies?

I guess I can use Kies to backup my stuff too, right ? Sorry for noob questions, still new to the rooting world
