i have read the problm same as urs..but forgt where..but the problem appear after update is related with memory card..if i not wrong..try to remove ur memry card...restart...and see the status...

U can charge as a normal in jb.. The way is buy new cable.. N make sure the end of the cable got 5 leg(the kuprum)
