my warranty claim was denied many times by samsung at the SC, and they ignored my 5 emails that i sent throughout 3 months.

UPDATE: Today I have been charging the s3 all day long but nothing happen. Will keep charging and then the next day will drain it again and repeat.

Bought a carrier-branded (specifically Orange France) Grey S3 from 1Gadget.com the other day and realized that there's no Software Update function on my S3 About Device menu. Used Kies but it also said that I was at latest firmware but still ICS (4.0.3 lol).

Wondering anyway instead of using custom ROMs to update my S3. Thanks

is it recommended to use the flip cover? the one that replaces the battery cover. i find it really nice n sleek...but seems like not much protection. And from what i see..normally the batt cover will come off on impact. so if i drop the phone...the whole flip cover would come ofF? any users of the flip cover here ? heheh

poland 4.1.2 may have a little different with malaysia 4.1.2 but no one will know until malaysia release it. Now you in Poland 4.1.2? if true, meaning you phone is running latest JB poland ROM and you will have to wait for poland next release. Someone told me (can't remember who) that once you rooted your will not receive OTA but you can still update with kies, remember your rooting will gone and bloatware will restored if flash to stock and rooting and removing bloatware process is required again.

To avoid lossing your root is buy mobile odin and flash with it.

u using poland 4.1.2 that's y u get GDFI02 for phone fw

same v my cousin but i get both ZDFF03 can't update since update to JB. wait for 4.1.2

actually should get Phone FW Ver: ZDFI02 as for Camera FW not very sure ZDFE02 or ZDFF03

@G K Lai clear this 2 option. factory test & media storage. clear few times won't cause u any issue. tested already & it works.

Settings > Application Manager > Factory Test > Clear data

Settings > Application Manager > Media Storage > Clear data

I want to ask after we plug in USB cable and transfer file using our desktop using MTP right? Do I need to safely remove the phone smtg like pen drive? Or I can just plug off the cable??

If I straight plug off the USB after transfer without safely remove will it harm my phone?

hi people... new S3 user here...
Erm... i have a problem here:
I copied a movie (wmv format: Step Up 4) into a 8GB microSD card by using computer, after that, i played it... sometimes it plays smooth but sometimes it lag.. i removed all the opened apps then continued... same thing happened too...
is there any problem? or it's like that so i need to do some graphic accelerate to make it smooth?
