dear sir, need a little help here. Recently my S3 is taking a long period of time to be charged. approximately 4-5 hrs yet still around 95% only. Does it have anything to do with the OS( jelly bean) or it's the charging cable issues?TQ
*
when charging, please check in setting>battery either it is connected as AC or USB

I mentioned before the battery life for omega on v34 is terrible. I'm here to share with everyone that v35 is also terrible. Better is v33 but best is checkrom, but GC is away in USA and hasn't been posting anything for 2 months.

And when I upgrade from v34 to v35, after the upgrade, although i still have all my contacts in my phone book, but when I view my sms, no names appear. All numbers. What should I do to rectify this?

Just want to share with u guys

Omega v35 wity siyah 1.8.6 is so battery friendly

Later i post some drillz if got time

Btw, anybody know how to solve the problem of when screen turn off n u want to turn on by pressing menu button, it will straight away go to desktop. Even when u in the middle of using app. Usually when turn on the screen it will go back to ur current running app. In omega v33.3 i got this problem. After flash v34 it disappear now in v35 it come back. Done reflashing the rom twice but to no avail. Don't suggest factory reset because lazy to restore everything.

Tq guys for ur time

furthermore, the implementation of LTE in malaysia would take much time. telco wont go gung ho n implement all area with it. just look at back the implementation of 3g etcetera.
luckily i live in klang valley. n hoping by the time s4 come out, umobile got this area full with LTE band. lol

but to samsungxp, he always go singapore which got LTE so he got good reason n maybe we read his words in a boastful way. miscommunication maybe cause we dono his intention la

It just a concluded theory based on common story of what most ppl experience before their s3 death on xda thread ie; overnight charging n trying to turn on the screen while charging the phone in the morning.

Nothing to do with the battery since motherboard is the culprit.

enable exploit and disable is for wat purpose?disable better?camera working
*
Up to u actually. Disabling it will help ur phone from being exploit by nasty app installed. With the cost of back camera not working. But u can always enable it when u want to use camera

For rooted user, check this post n u can use the camera without needing to enable the fix. No hassle

QUOTE(xarmx @ Dec 27 2012, 01:49 AM)
hey guys. i just got back from kl. got a bad news sad.gif i dropped my s3 while riding my bike. was travelling on 30km/h when it dropped from my bag, i was trying to zip the bag after using the maps for some direction. it dropped to my peha first, then when i looked back, i saw my phone tumbling on the asphalt, face down, then up, then slide. the screen was still lit back then.

the phone almost got lenyek by a taxi, followed by a scooter. thankfully got it back, but the screen are now cracked, almost 35%. what should i do? should i ask SC for replacement? i know its not covered by warranty, so i want to ask better repair at shop or at SC? how about the price?

mine is titanium grey. will provide picture as soon as possible. oh and thinking of going to lowyat's SC tomorrow.
*
Sorry for u bro. That's why i never multitask with my phone while riding bike. So sked. A lot of ppl here will ask u to send repair at sc i guess. Because a lot of ppl who fix their phone at some ordinary shop will eventually have another problem arisen once the repair is done. Better go sc because they maybe more experienced. But don't worry. After that u can sell ur cracked lcd at garage sales. Lot of buyer there. Don't know what they are going to do with it. Try search there. Maybe can help u in financial way.
