Customer service is a meh in Malaysia while malaysia consumers in some cases rude n think that when they pay $ they are allowed to talk rude n treat staff worse then animals.
*
it's because of our typical malaysian attitute towards abusing customer service that causes samsung to react to us accordingly.

just look at that video of the guy barging into senQ shouting and damaging everything.. doh.gif

so far, no one seemed to be denied of warranty claim for sudden death issue. Regardless it was rooted or stock..
So getting warranty claim is not the issue here..

The real issue that is bugging me is that, why are some people getting back the same mobo with 1.100 rev and some with newer rev of 1.400/1.500 and for those who got back the same 1.100 rev mobo, what if the mobo die again after another 150~200 days. By that time, warranty period would be over. Then what next?

but then again, all this is just concerns as none of us would have reached 1 year of usage on the S3 yet. So we wont know.. But nonetheless, its a concern and it would make people feel insecure and uncomfortable.

the rev = hardware or software?

Just came back from samsung SC with a crack-free S3. Kudos to samsung for excellent customer service biggrin.gif

The employee previously told me that my data would be wiped, but turns out it didn't get wiped. Everything still intact.

Also, I'm rooted and samsung doesnt seem to be bothered by it brows.gif

edit : is official 4.1.2 for UK out already? if so, can someone please provide me a download link? biggrin.gif

yes. if you mean new firmware as new stock firmware from samsung, then yes. but what do you mean by themes? go launcher themes? apex? or you mean custom rom themes?
*
New firmware = new stock firmware from samsung~

And by theme i mean this (blue clock font and such)

that is an app, amirite?
if yes then no need (only if OTA update)
i'm guessing that you've rooted your phone so only odin can flash your phone. then you need to reinstall.
*
no not an app, i mean the blue clock font and blue toggles that i flashed sweat.gif
