put it this way, light sensor on auto keeps lightings at optimal view levels, so it can save battery when outdoors, cause lower lux

my statement on 50% or lower brightness was to keep it at a constant low, but still can read off the screens

auto bright can sometimes be a good sometimes be a bad battery usage, but keeping at fixed lets you view at same brightness anytime anyday, and batteries wont fluctuate much
