have u install samsung usb driver?
u can get it here -

anyone with dual boot and share me what roms you used? and how about the battery life?

another thing is when i use 2nd rom, will the messaging apps still work? such as line and whatsapp still will received?

All apps are not shared , u have your own individual apps for each rom . If u have whatsapp , u have to have on both roms unless they updated a new version for shared apps which i dunno as I stop using it . Sticking with 1 is easier .... Bat life is the same as u only run 1 rom at a time .

Default rom omega v34.2nd rom pacman rom. Messaging will works as it supposed. Just restore every apps from titanium backup. Regarding battery life, not sure. Im a heavy user. Everyday charge my phone almost thrice. Still finding the best rom that's why use dual boot.

me, default on wanam 5.1 & 2nd boot on cm10 nightly..
stock messaging & whatssap on both rom
fb on both rom as well, but dupe account on 2nd rom LOL

Ok, got s3 during June. Two weeks ago mobo died out of nowhere, sent to service centre for two weeks and its not yet ready.



I felt like i was cheated.

i mean before i on stock rom 4.0.4 ICS . then want to put custom rom i root using odin and select the .tar file. after done that. install custom rom 4.1.2 to my phone. than not satisfied with the rom , want to change to other rom. need to root using odin once more with diffrent .tar file ?

Nope , it cant . But i find it more battery friendly than siyah unless u want a lot of sound mods . Siyah got the most mods for sound quality it seems

Just for fun .... Was running AOSP before but it doesn't have the full function of TW based . A dual boot helps as I just boot another ROM and use it . For example , camera mode

yeah i did that as well but still the same.. then just now i went back to the shop and they replace me new set, they said this batch some s3 got issue with the connecter (don't know why they still sell it if there was an issue). now im charging the phone and will do the test again.. thanks bro! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
