Just asking, I'm in pure science stream and I didn't drop any Subjects cause too late. But I really want to drop physics. If I don't attend for spm physics paper, will my cert/slip have a TH, 0 or physics won't appear? Cause according to my friends sibling, he was in sub science stream with accounts but he didn't attend accounts paper. accounts was not listed in his SPM slip and cert.

We're only allowed to drop during march or form 5 anyways. And physics has always been a pain to me.

I don't think you can drop Physics if you enrolled in science stream. You might be able to drop Biology, but not Chemistry and Physics. But anyway you might want to find out.

It'll be marked "Tidak hadir", and dude I am advising you to NOT drop Physics.

For my school, we can drop anything except core subjects smile.gif physics is only going to cause me a G in my cert. And I'm most probably doing something in college that has nothing to do with science subjects. Alright, thanks for the info smile.gif

I need help on paper 3. How do u all prepare for it? So many exp to remember and is it wrong if i write diff conc and vol for the solutions?
*
Basically, if you read from reference books, its stated activity and experiment. Usually only experiments will come out as activities are usually in section A. And its not hard to remember experiments especially if you've done in hands on in school. Concentration and volume can be different from books especially volume but make sure it suits the apparatus you're using. I myself am a form 5 student but I usually have difficulties in paper 2.

Since most of you are picking up a-level, where's your choice for college??

I had my exam today, apparently I prepared and finished 7years of pass year twice.
I though I was prepared to face anything .
How much did I know, trials didn't follow the spm structures , or the flow of it ( if you practice a lot, you get what I meant)
So depressing .
*
Hmm I agree. I could do past year paper for add maths but trials add maths was totally screwed. I guess that's why they say if you get an A for trials, your A is guaranteed for spm.

feel so dissaponted now coz my add maths teacher choose sbp 2012 paper and i only have the last year's book(until 2011).
*
One of my subject, my teacher took the exact same thing from sbp book. I only did 2008, she took 2007. And the reason why I didn't do 2007 is cause I fell asleep. Don't know whether its counted as I'm unlucky or what :'(

Everyone here that's sitting for spm this year sounds like straight A students - the way you reply and explain about your papers & also about how there's only 1 or 2ssubjects that you're weak in. Hahaha. So is there anyone here like me, who doesn't go for tuition at all, messes around in class and doesn't score very well in exams but can pass. Haha

Matriculation is a form of Pre-U offered by the MoE. It is perceived to be easier than a-level and stpm. Getting a CGPA of 4.0 (which means 4A) is relatively easy and if I am not mistaken, over 2000 matriks students got 4.0 last year. The main advantage of doing matriculation is that you get an easy access to local universities. And also it is cheap, smile.gif

The problem with matriks is that you would be learning less stuff than people taking alevels and stpm, some may see this as a good thing,I personally believe this reduces the standard and quality of students produced. :/

Also, it is relatively hard for non bumis to get into matriculation, as the original intention of establishing this course was to allow bumis to gain easy access to universities. Just for your info, kolej matrikulasi selangor accepted 2000+ students, of which only 150 are chinese. As far as I know, you would need at least 7A+ and KK marks of around 8.5 to get in.
Anyways, you should be focusing on your spm. Worry about your pre-u after that.  rclxms.gif
*
Oh thank you. Haha, just asking cause I wanna know what I'm registering for. Anyways 7A+ for me is the definition of impossible. I'm in the science stream but I want to do diploma in culinary arts in sunway. tongue.gif

Seems like I'll be the only one venturing into Science .

It's disappointing , really , students choose the Science stream not because they are passionate about it , but because they were forced by parents/teachers or considered SPM Arts Stream as inferior to Science .

The only reason I'm so motivated to excel in SPM is because of the Science subjects .
*
Actually other than being forced, its also cause most of the students don't know what they want to do after spm. For science stream students, we can easily take accounts/econs in college and we also learn it in english which makes it easier to understand. As for arts to study science in college, its basically very very tough to learn everything in college. Haha. I'm not offending the arts students though, I have many many friends there which already know what they want to do, that's why they chose arts. Most science students are clueless tongue.gif just my point of view, after all, what you study is for yourself, not others! smile.gif

Yes. But when you have the basics of accounts learned during SPM/STPM, you will have a easy life afterwards (you will just have to translate everything into English, all the concepts are identical)
*
Yes concepts are identical but we all know studying in BM is a pain. sad.gif
