Do you think life will always be smooth sailing , a walk in the park , a bed of roses ? Do you expect everything to be easy ?
Anyway , today , I'd gotten hold of , or asked for my school's top scorer's trial Negeri Sembilan papers . From those papers , you'll easily see that she's really a hardworking person . Her papers are filled with notes and Chinese characters above English words that she did not understand . Her main weakness was her grasp of languages other than Chinese , especially English , and in her trials , she only got an A- , nearly dropped to B+ .
Her SPM results are 8A+ and 2A , where both of her A's were English and BM . It's a bit of a shame really , if she had been exposed to more English hours in primary school , she would be able to at least scratch of 9A+s and secure a bursary as her parents are not well off ( 80% of the students in my school have parents earning about 1000k or below , yes , this is true ) .
SPM results may not show that a person is intelligent , but a string of A+s is definitely a good sign that the person is committed on achieving something , and working hard towards it . And that's what really matters .
so what did she do with her results? 8A+.. I'm in the same situation as her right now, so close in securing a bursary from kpm.. sigh..Anyway , today , I'd gotten hold of , or asked for my school's top scorer's trial Negeri Sembilan papers .
