Hi guys, any ideas on how to do well in bio and physics?
The main problem i faced in bio is that i basically understand the concept, but always fails to memorize the complicated bio terms and names such as prothrombin and luteinising hormone.Always feel that those terms are not really english in strict sense. doh.gif
As for physics,i really do poor in calculations, waves and mirror/lens/light.How does you guys understand the mirror/lens/light chapter?Seems very complicated for me.
Are they any tricks for these problems?

Use mind maps, blood clotting mechanism etc I use diagrams.

Here's my bio teacher...he is very colourful if you know what I mean  brows.gif All for academic purposes...Biology  tongue.gif

Here's his website : http://www.cikguheery.blogspot.com/

You can see there are many diagrams  smile.gif So grateful to have a good teacher  laugh.gif

About physics you need to understand the concept, for light there is just a few calulations TBH less than those of Force and Motion. Perhaps this website could help you out abit  smile.gif

Awesome notes indeed rclxms.gif
Seems very relaxing notes.....quite a sort of funny too drool.gif
I dint went for Bio tuition before and my school teacher is just like a textbook reading machine doh.gif ,and those reference book are basically rclxub.gif
Thanks for the colourful notes lol rclxms.gif
Well as for the physics i have a hard time to understand the concept.Maybe my brain problem.........i think i have an art brain rather than a science brain.

Nope, Form 5 had enough  rclxms.gif
Anyways, anyone can confirm if I am correct in answering Jelaskan 1 nilai questions in SPM?

<name> seharusnya mengamalkan <nilai> dengan <kata kunci> + huraian

It seems that the answer scope of some workbooks use the definisi and not kata kunci.
Your welcome  smile.gif  Good luck

That answering method u mentioned is for essay part if im not mistaken.
For the structure part,it should be 2 kata kunci instead.
Thats what i get deducted for my moral trial.I wrote only 1 kata kunci for my structure part jelaskan question, and my teacher told me that it should be 2 kata kunci instead of 1.
Btw the question was jelaskan 2 nilai, and there are 4 marks for them,2marks for 2 nilai and 2 marks for 4 kata kunci in total.
Not sure how if write the whole definition. hmm.gif

Sorry guys if someone could help me out with this question:
http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/3449/wjif.jpg

My phone's camera quite sucks im sorry about that tongue.gif The value is (k-3)i+j in case its not clear enough.
Anyone know how to do this? The answer is (k-3)^2 +1=1,hence k=1(final answer)

I have done this before too . My teacher said cancel PQ coz its an error. Solution is like this:
*
QUOTE(Critical_Fallacy @ Oct 5 2013, 10:14 PM)
Given that

Vector PQ = (k − 3) i + (1) j

and

Vector PQ is a unit vector. (The hidden message is the magnitude |PQ| = 1)

Therefore,

|PQ| = √(x² + y²)

and you finish the rest... icon_rolleyes.gif

A big thanks to both of you. rclxms.gif So does the phrase "........is a unit vector" means its equal to 1 in any circumstances?
