Ya not only you, I feel where ever calculation is involved = slower paper. Bio my fastest to complete then Physics and Chem.

Just curious, how do you guys remember the procedure for experiments?

Especially length experiments like the J-tube one?

Physics' procedures are pretty much fixed , simple . Chemistry is quite easy to 'goreng' too ... Biology requires K1 , K2 , K3 , K4 and K5 , so you'll have to 'goreng' intelligently .  I don't draw diagrams in Biology P3 though , you need 5 labels to be awarded marks for apparatus/materials .

The thing to worry about is whether you get in or not . Yes , you can opt not to accept their offer .

Apply all sort of scholarships first see which one offer the best then you only pick that.

Im going for an undecided Pre-U course, than degree in Accounting & Finance, than ACCA

Seems like I'll be the only one venturing into Science .

It's disappointing , really , students choose the Science stream not because they are passionate about it , but because they were forced by parents/teachers or considered SPM Arts Stream as inferior to Science .

The only reason I'm so motivated to excel in SPM is because of the Science subjects .

Matriculation is a form of Pre-U offered by the MoE. It is perceived to be easier than a-level and stpm. Getting a CGPA of 4.0 (which means 4A) is relatively easy and if I am not mistaken, over 2000 matriks students got 4.0 last year. The main advantage of doing matriculation is that you get an easy access to local universities. And also it is cheap,

The problem with matriks is that you would be learning less stuff than people taking alevels and stpm, some may see this as a good thing,I personally believe this reduces the standard and quality of students produced. :/

Also, it is relatively hard for non bumis to get into matriculation, as the original intention of establishing this course was to allow bumis to gain easy access to universities. Just for your info, kolej matrikulasi selangor accepted 2000+ students, of which only 150 are chinese. As far as I know, you would need at least 7A+ and KK marks of around 8.5 to get in.
Anyways, you should be focusing on your spm. Worry about your pre-u after that. 

If you're a non bumi, even if you get 9A+ and super high koko marks won't guarentee you a spot in it (Experience from cousin)

Actually other than being forced, its also cause most of the students don't know what they want to do after spm. For science stream students, we can easily take accounts/econs in college and we also learn it in english which makes it easier to understand. As for arts to study science in college, its basically very very tough to learn everything in college. Haha. I'm not offending the arts students though, I have many many friends there which already know what they want to do, that's why they chose science. Most science students are clueless  just my point of view, after all, what you study is for yourself, not others!

Yes concepts are identical but we all know studying in BM is a pain.
