I just got a GA-Z77M-D3H together with an i7 3770 and a GF GTX680. My PSU is an OCZ 600W 80+. Also 2x4 Kingston Hyper-X 1600 blu whatever.

I assembled everything and then this happened:

I am not resetting it, it's on a loop by itself! Nothing shows up on screen.



What could the problem possibly be?

I tried another decent PSU, problem is still the same.

I tried using an i5 2500, problem still happens.

I tested my GPU on another computer, it worked fine.

I tested my RAM on other computer, they worked fine. I tried booting with the RAM on different slots, no success.

I tried to boot up the computer without a GPU, same problem.

I tried to boot up the computer without RAM, problem changed: mobo beeped non-stop. Once RAM was put back, problem went back to the one on the video.

I tried booting with the motherboard outside of the case to be sure there was no contact with it. Same problem happened.

I've searched a lot on google for the meaning of 3 beeps, space, 3 beeps and had no success.


Any suggestions?

Tried all ram slots with different rams and had no success.

Pretty sure There isn't much secret. Plug in the 4 pin connector, the 24 pin connector, power up GPU and that's it! I don't even have any SATAs plugged in. CPU's fan is connected to the CPU_FAN.

Just took a very close look using a magnifier and didn't find anything odd. I also removed the CPU and checked the mobo pins under it, they seem to be fine.



Did that. No success =( I also tried turning it on (while power was disconnected) to disperse anything that might be on the mobo.


Tried all slots without success =(

Also, that link doesn't have 3 beep, space, 3 beep. 6 beeps isn't what's going on with my computer, I think. I suspect that it would at least post and show me an error screen if keyboard was the problem, wouldn't it? Anyway, I tried different keyboards without success.
