You don't need parents signature on PTPTN form.
It will be very troublesome for overseas people.

I am confused bout PTPTN now.

According to my friend, we can apply with the OMR form again and don't need to apply online. Is it true?

I prefer to apply manually so that I don't need to go to BSN to buy the pin to log in.

the online application is only for TAR college students . IINM its the only way to apply if you're from TARC

anyways , buying the pin is easy , just get a number , go to counter , fill up name and IC , pay rm5 . fin smile.gif

I am a TARC student. I skipped the briefing about the PTPTN but my friend who went for the briefing told me that the OMR way is back.

If there's manual way, I would choose manual way. Anyway, we Advance Diploma students still can't apply for PTPTN. We still haven't get our CGPA result.

I think there is a maximum amount PTPTN can loan.  IINM it's RM16k per annum.
*
Well, it depends smile.gif
TARC diploma maximum amount is RM10K. TARC tuition fees is less than RM10K.

Other colleges can get higher as their tuition fees is higher.

And the slip gaji, can I just use the photocopy ones?

If you are applying for yourself (age over 18)
then your TEMPORARY account number start with 00 follow by your IC
eg. your IC is 880101-14-5872 then your account number will be 00880101145872
when you get the REAL number there will be an extra digit behind.
If you are under 18 then it is start with 01.

Thanks for your information smile.gif
So, this will be the number I will be inserting for PTPTN application ya?

Ok, I am done till the last step where I have to fill in the details of the course and college that I take in my college.

I had clicked the
1. Sila pilih Institusi dan Kursus yang anda ingin ikuti
2. Fill in the courses and college.
3. Dengan ini saya mengesahkan bahawa saya telah membaca dan memahami segala syarat kelayakan masuk ke kursus yg dikehendaki oleh pihak IPT
4. Saya setuju
5. Hantar permohonan.

But, I got this message.
"PERHATIAN: Data tidak sah atau tidak lengkap

1. Sila pilih kursus yang anda ingin ikuti. " rclxub.gif

Anyone facing this?

-Prob solved-

You need it to prove that you already apply for SSPN account.

Yea, I know. sad.gif
SSPN hasn't deliver the letter to me.
Guess I had to call PTPTN to ask is there any other way to prove that I had opened SSPN account.

Hi guyz, I just went briefing for PTPTN.

May I know how you guyz get the signature for the Saksi Penjamin?
The Commisioner for Oath will come to TARC to sign for us, but each signature cost us RM2.50. Since we need 4 signature, we need to pay him RM10. shakehead.gif

By the way, I mentioned that I lost my SSPN slip before but I haven't get my letter.
I called few times to PTPTN before they willing to answer my call.
I gave them my IC number and they gave me my SSPN account number, which is 00(ic number)8.
And just print out the Penyata Akaun.

How about your SSPN's number? Is it the same?

Minimum deposit is RM20.
You don't need to debit RM20 every month

I applied SSPN on March and I got my card on end of Sept. Don't worry about that.

You must open a SSPN account no matter what savings account you have now.

Log on to http://www.ptptn.gov.my/ and slowly learn the steps to apply. Read through this whole thread to make you understand more on how to apply PTPTN smile.gif

nope. only secondary school principal can certify the documents for PTPTN and those government officers, ketua kampung and so on.

Is this a new regulation that all the documents must be certified? Most of my friends just hand in all the documents without certification, that time they are still using hard copy application form.
*
All the while, our documents have to certified true copy. Some high position lecturers may help you to certify true copy.

There are few more that cannot be certified by your lecturers or your school Pengetua. That must be signed by Commissioner of Oath or Ketua Kampung. TARC 'hire' the Commissioner of Oath and each signature cost us RM5. I went to Pengerusi of Rukun Tetangga of my area to sign. Luckily, my application was approved.
