QUOTE(cutejams2004 @ Sep 28 2008, 12:59 AM) well for state loans, will they only approve ur application if u were born in that state? like in my case, i was born in kl, but ever since i was like 1 , i've been living in selangor till today. And according to some ppl, i wont be able to apply for selangot state scholarship or loan as im not born in selangor. my dad was born in kl and mom in selangor, n they have lived in selangor for at least more than 10 years.. well, as long u were born in kl, ur eligible to apply. as for selangor, ur not eligible. thats why though ive been staying in selangor for 20 years, i did not apply for the selangor state government loan as i was not eligible for it. instead i go for pulau pinang, since the requirement stated that 1) dilahirkan di pulau pinang Added on September 28, 2008, 1:30 pmQUOTE(macho_siot @ Sep 28 2008, 04:04 AM) ptptn or ptptpu... huhu.. dudes,,, I owed to ptptn about RM5k... why they reject my application to delay the payment?? i got other scholar first of all, whats the reason of you delaying the payment? QUOTE(apani @ Oct 3 2008, 05:23 PM) i am not sure what is the way that i will be informed regarding to the approval of my ptptn.... when i had filled in the online ptptn application form, there was a "status permohanan" there..... but the next time i logged in my account again, i could not find this session anymore..... and the pop-up page was the information that i filled last time... why???? i got to know about my status by regularly checking it online. this is how its gonna look like once they approved your online application. im waiting for the ptptn personnel to come over to ukm for the signing of the contract and handling of the relevant document.

QUOTE(reevephon @ Oct 18 2008, 11:07 AM) Urgent Help (APIIT/UCTI Student) This monday I had apply the PTPTN through epinjaman.ptptn.gov.my, and now I'm waiting for the approval. So now I'm preparing the documents (in photostat form) that need to be attached to our school's staff once my PTPTN got approved. My question is, do i need to get the sign and cop from the official pegawai jabatan (exp ketua kampong) or from my secondary school principle? Documents that need to attach as below: IC Copy Offer Letter from my school SPM certificate Foundation Results CIMB account book front page Parent Payslip SSPN Form SSPN Slip Death Certificate (due to my father was past away) go get ur photocopies certified by the secondary school principal. even penolong kanan can do it too This post has been edited by LoveMeNot: Oct 18 2008, 12:09 PM

QUOTE(Nekochan @ Dec 23 2008, 12:03 PM) Hi. My parents are divorced and my mom is now working in those restaurant where her pay slip is only a salary voucher. Can I use it that or if I need the surat pengesahan gaji from the PTPTN site? Currently my mom is the only one supporting us. Can anyone tell me more about this. get a surat pengesahan from your mum's employer stating her average salary. my dad is a taxi driver and i ask him to get it from his employer too since he doesn't have any payslip. QUOTE(john1010_ma @ Dec 23 2008, 12:32 PM) Hi guys, would like to kindly ask if the PTPTN fees will be waived if one does well in a Masters programme ata local uni? No.middle of 2006 onwards, waiving and conversion of loan to scholarship has been ceased. Plus, ptptn only started to offer loan for postgraduate studies anyway and there is no such privilege. I would be happy if there is such because Im doing my postgrad at a local uni too. Unfortunately..

QUOTE(yukiya @ Dec 23 2008, 11:44 PM) Hi, I just received news that I've been granted RM16,000.00 for the loan. Is it a one time amount or for yearly basis? I'm really lost xD;; then u shud know how much of loan you have applied and double check this amount against it. anyway, it has never been yearly basis from ptptn. its by semester. rm16,000 can be the total loan for your course. and they will split it accordingly to how many semester u have. QUOTE(starryangel @ Dec 24 2008, 12:12 AM) Does PTPTN support twinning programmes? And JPA loan after that? I mean like borrrow money from ptptn while studying it locally and then jpa loan after going overseas... no ptptn does not support twinning programmes. it is all locally. QUOTE(Nekochan @ Dec 24 2008, 12:42 AM) Anyone here doesn't get their SSPN card? How long does it take for the card to arrive? What will I need to do if I were to apply PTPTN later without the card? Thanks for your time. when u applied for your sspn, you will have to fill in this application form right? u can also use that form to apply for your ptptn. photocopy it and get it certified. you keep the original copy. i didnt get my card when i applied for my ptptn and this is what i did exactly

QUOTE(pokeat @ Mar 13 2009, 06:34 PM) Can I apply for Ptptn loan after my SPM ? My mom told me have to wait One year after college ? Pay for the First year our own ? it depends what you wanna pursue after your spm. e.g. matriculation? A-level? diploma? only diploma courses approved by the MQA (malaysia quality assurance) are offered. Usually application will be on the first semester and you'll only get your loan towards the 2nd semester.
