why the goverment tidak mencoba one project for producing some item that MAF ussualy use it, for an example, training bomb (dunno malaysia already produce it or not), simple project but army ussualy use that item very often for training their new soldier, dont have strategic values, but atleast, army will buy it, factory got the money for next R&D, and can improve it. the point is, there's a will from the goverment and users.
like ANOA in the first launching, TNI wont use that (no match with other vehicles from outside) but our president Habibie in that time insit TNI must buy it (approx 150 ANOA), and now, day by day we can improve it. maybe still have lack in there and here, but atleast we try..
i hope the plan for aqusition pars 8x8 still on the right track and malaysia can start producing their own gears..

i know rite? SG support us..indo forumers keep butting in and calling us thief..then demanding us to return sarawak to them..the heck..
the hell..
its just because of hate in the past.. u know? even in term of flood.. jakarta got flood then some malaysian forumer laughing.. vice versa.. if some negative thing happen in your country, some of our forumer clapping and feel so happy.. and that is vice versa too.. we know some of malaysian forumer are happy because indo got problem with papuan rebellion, in fact.. indo got more problem facing rebellion for years.. and before this, malaysia is a safe country, before LD case, SOME of malaysian forumer use papua case for attacking SOME indonesian forumer and we unable to attack u back cause in fact malaysia is safe from separatist and rebellion.. but now SOME of indo forumer got their "weapon".. what u need is take a notice is what about our leader statement, did he support sulu or not, that's the important thing !!!
Btw.. any comment from our leader about taking back sabah and sarawak after sukarno era? until now.. i never heard indo have interest in sabah or sarawak.. in the future? i dont know.. and i doubt anyone in this world could predict what happen in the future..
In my personal opinion.. i dont care whatever malaysia do in the past to get sabah or sarawak.. but i dont agree with sulu using gun and taking life to get their goal.. i never agree with separatis or rebellion..
budak indon spotted...ambil ni 20sen...pergi elu nyuci wc sono
you are dead wrong. you know why? cause nobody in Malaysia gives a fucuk about Indon. who the hell knows what's going on at Papua - nobody
cause nobody gives a shit
but budak-budak indon gives every little shit about Malaysia? why? kerna bangsa indon itu ternyata ngiri ama Malay...sering banding ama Malay...dasar bangsa pola pikir kebelakang.
Did you heard about the alleged Kopasus member revenged the death of their member by breaking into a prison in Yogyakarta and kill the all the accused?
hardcome meng
oh wait.
SUMMONING meedoot
couple night ago.. 2 kopassus came into a cafe in yogyakarta, and beaten and stabed with broken bottle by 15 men (thug maybe).. 1 kopassus member died, police arrest 4 of the thug, the rest still run away.. the police prison still in renovation and that 4 thugs taken to state prison.. and this day those 4 thug get shot by 9 gunmen (news says there are 14 gunmen) but only 9 who beat and shot that thugs..
about this gunmen, unconfirmed yet who are they, some say its other kopassus soldierwho take revenge, but, commander of kopassus "kandang menjangan" give proof that no kopassus soldier leaving from the mess in that time. this case still in investigation, special force wont do that way if they want to kill the target in my opinion, its to rude and frontal.. ussualy they use smooth way.. panglima TNI also give statement and guarantee that the gunmen is not from TNI or the special force.. but who knows?? lol.. everything has possibility.. we only guess who are they by reading the news, statement and read the history again and we've got a conclusion..
last time.. there a case, when a men kidnapping a cild, he got arrested too.. but the people already angry about that.. hundreds of people came into office station with parang, kayu etc.. they brake the jail and the wall and stab that man body and face with bamboo like satay.. drag him out and slash him into pieces and police cant do anything..
about an army attacking police station in south sumatra, its a long story.. u need to know the history of this 2 institution long ago.. its about justice..
some of us happy and support that garbage shot to dead.. but there are rule and law to obey.. just wait and see
the lastest news is the victim is not kopassus member but once he did in kopassus and later he got trasferred into military district and no longer a kopassus member..

i'm not sure about this, but i heard that Indonesian army got this special right. like, every indonesian citizen have the obligation to provide for the need of the military unit without expecting compensation. There's this one case where my father's unit are part of the joint exercise with Indonesian army. On joint patrol, when they reach one village, All indonesian soldiers suddenly spread about and start looting villager's crops and poultries. the villagers just stand about and watched. All malaysian soldiers are dumbstruck by this. When they asked one villagers about this. the villagers say it's a regular occurance when the military unit is passing through. The village usually got early warning. when they heard the army unit is on the way, they will send all the young girls along with the valuables to the neighbouring village.
ahahahahaha... if that truly happen, there will be hot news in indo, cause hundreds of LSM dalam dan luar negeri (Human Rights NGO) watching indonesian army.. in simple explanation, when our army sneezing loudly, that NGO will make some human right violation report cause make some disturbing noise.. hahahahaha
all citizen in indonesia has same right in front of law.. if they are found guilty, it will be punished. do not talk about the possibility of special treatment, because other country have that possibility too. but in Indonesia, all citizens are equal in front of law.
if civilians have police and courts, the military courts have the Military Police and military courts .. I need to show how many were sentenced to military prison until he got fired?

yet in kaskus still trolling about malaysia military.respek mana?
there will be troll, flamer, hatter in every forum.. ask @atreyuangel about that.. already explain about this lots of time..
What are we waiting for!? Indonesia and Philippines would piss in their pants!
rafale i s a nice, good and powerful jet fighter no doubt.. good if malaysia can afford this jets.. but any reason why indo must piss in their pants? if indo and malaysia in the middle of war, this news will be a night mare for indo, but, in this peace time, no need to worry lah.. both country have their expert in military, one movement from other side, made another side get ready..
dassault statement about building rafale jet in malaysia is true.. dassault once told this too when offering their jets to indonesia, its bussiness strategy.. u know even rafale is a strong jet, find other country use this jet except france, high operation and maintenance cost is the reason.. but malaysia.. who knows ???
in my opinion, china want to know how malaysia and the world (especially the U.S.)will react. if china fleet go that far and no reaction, then it will be easier for China to master the border dispute closer to the mainland. if you look at the map, the jhames shoal is also close to the Natuna Island. and if you look at the case in the past as well as the claims of china, some regions in Natuna Island also claimed by china. had several incidents between China and Indonesia in the Natuna in tha past, in the case of this SCS, Indonesia should have to be serious.
united states still looks awkward when facing china, U.S. is the biggest export market of china, and the U.S. also have a huge debt in china.
if war broke out in ASEAN, true that china can not use its nuclear, because there's international agreement that countries that have nuclear is not allowed to use it to countries that have no nuclear. but without any nuclear, if joining ASEAN countries facing china, it is very difficult to deal with in the present. china military quality goods that had doubted, is no longer relevant. china've learned a lot and their military technology is getting good. and their military industry .. ran like a deer being chased tiger .. very fast ..
do they really need the new stuff? they don't even have the cash to pay for it..
we need new stuff is true, but not for all stuff, to replace the old one, for an example, we still operate weapon from WW 2 right now.. its different situation, replacing and increasing.. we still replacing, and believe me, we have the money, but our goverment have their own reason why we dont pay cash
QUOTE(zimhibikie @ Apr 1 2013, 02:16 PM)
and then bermimpi besar wanna buy SU30s and AH61Ds...
about more SU, i dont know yet, but likely it wont happen in this regime, dont know if next president want to purchasing again.. in indonesia different leader could be different perspective in military stuff.. thats bad actually
about AH, wait till indo goverment make an announcement.. every nations have their own strategy when purchasing military stuff, politic in every nations is different , but u can see how we make a deal in leopard from germany as a sample.. playing a lot of cards..
QUOTE(Einjahr @ Apr 1 2013, 02:20 PM)
nanti become like ussr how? lol
hope that wont happen

Indon maybe did mistakes like in the 1960s, bought Soviet cruiser, then sell back to USSR when bleeding money maintaining and sailing it..
maybe.. but its a very different condition now.. a lot of mistake that we can learn from the past.. maybe some bad/wrong decision has been made by indonesian leader now.. but, as long as it wont change our main purpose, can be tolerate..
TFX.. almost similar to KFX and IFX by design in this time..
last time turkey has joint korean KFX programe, with their 20% share same as indonesian.. but dont know why they get out from that program, yes last time they have plan to make their own jet fighter join development with SAAB.. sampai dimana progressnya hang?
lets see if the N.K really have the balls to start a nuclear war..less than 10 warhead vs 50++ warheads combined ( France, US, UK..)..unless if China and Russia also wants to join NK..
sorry bro.. even with a single nuclear warhead alone, enough to kill thousands of people by the blast, and poisoned tens of thousands more peoples through the soil, water and air. nuclear radiation will be quickly carried away by wind and water. if the wind or water that can carry the radiation hundred miles away, the people who live very far from the center of the explosion will affected. it's just one warhead alone, imagine if every country that has a nuclear warhead launched each one of their missile. then the movie called "Mad Max by Mel Gibson "will be coming to us.
I hv full confident USA able to contain NK's nuclear threats U shud know USA edi got a fleet of highly-specialised 747 planes carrying high-powered laser beams mounted on its nose to disable any missile that stil airborne
The idea to shoot the high-powered laser beams towards the missile's jet booster, vapourising the mechanicals without affecting the nuclear core itself( the core itself need specialised ignition to blast thus spreading the the deadly chain-reactions of nuclear impact), which in the end will drop those missiles like flies, without the nuclear core itself being ignited
Apache Guardian? newer version than Apache Longbow?
US Army fields first AH-64E Apache Guardian helicopter
The US Army's 1-229th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion (ARB) has fielded the first AH-64E Apache attack helicopter during a ceremony at Gray Army Airfield within Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington, US.
Eight out of 24 helicopters were received by the battalion, since January 2013, and all are scheduled to be operational by the end of April this year.
Known as Guardian, the new heavily-armed helicopter features more powerful, fuel-efficient T700-GE-701D engines, enhanced rotor blade technology, as well as advanced electronics, and is designed to replace the army's existing AH-64D Longbow model helicopters.
Other features include improved drive system and sensor enhancements, improved handling and performance, as well as the ability to hover at 6,000ft with a full mission payload, providing pilots with more control during high-altitude operations.
Commenting on the helicopter, 1-229th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion commander lieutenant colonel Geoffrey Crawford said it would increase the battalion's lethality and survivability, while also improving its ability to support ground forces. "The increased power will now allow us to stay on the objective longer and with more ammunition."
"The increased power will now allow us to stay on the objective longer and with more ammunition," Crawford added.
With a combat speed of around 189mph, the helicopter, which was formerly known as AH-64D Block III, can turn faster and tighter in challenging environments, and also provide pilots with options to remotely operate nearby unmanned aerial vehicles/systems.
In addition, 1-229th ARB maintenance test pilot chief warrant officer 3 Richard Crabtree said: "They can view UAV camera feeds, adjust their flight path and launch missiles at targets spotted by the UAV."
The battalion flight crews are scheduled to conduct familiarisation training using the actual aircraft and AH-64E flight simulators at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, in addition to training in preparation for upcoming rotations to the Army's National Training Center (NTC) later this year.
