when i heard the militants have family in sabah and they have supporters in Sabah, i'm starting to doubt the level of Sabah people's loyalty to the country..

Oh ? Perhaps you should also start doubting the loyalty of PDRM for allowing illegals to stay, the loyalty of the Immigration Dept for giving illegals PR, the loyalty of TLDM in letting their boats get through our borders & reaching the shore, the loyalty of the Home Ministry in down playing the issue.

You may also wonder where the loyalty of LHDN is, for allowing illegals to live tax free. How about the loyalty of Petronas in supplying anybody with $$ fuel to get in and out of M'sia etc etc etc

sheessh.

What you really should be concerned about is how Sabah-ans feel regarding their porous border. The danger is not only armed people coming in, but kidnappings going out.

was wondering... can a civilian legally buy and drive a de-militarized, de-armed such armored vehicle in malaysia?  laugh.gif would be a nice option in cases of flash flood i think, especially if it got the amphibious capability...  laugh.gif

I felt he could have done a better job on this part:

The C130 is designed to land on primitive airstrips, hence more rugged at the expense of speed & comfort. Commercial aircraft was used due to the availability of civilian infrastructure closeby.

It is not about airlift capability but using the right equipment for the mission. Would you rather sit in the back of a lorry or take the bus between KLIA & Putrajaya smile.gif
