The Jernas is also very agile even if it's meant for targets flying as low as 3000m and are almost 7000m away from the launcher. Britain still uses these SAMs till today, although they're looking to replace it within 2020 with a further development of the ASRAAM.

And yep, we do need a medium-range SAM to complete the gap.
