i'd take gripen as Fulcrum without any major complaints, but we should get another 2-engined fighter instead

them rafale,with all the ads and ToT promise and lip service, failed to their political string. maybe because their presence isn't that strong outside francophone country.

depends. some munition can be launched at high altitude (HARM, ALARM,JDAM,etc) while others can be launched at low attitude (dumb bombs,PGBs, cluster bombs,etc)

we're building a multi-layer air defence. SHORADS and VSHORADS(Oerlinkon guns are also considered VSHORADS) are meant for low-flying aircraft and helos, while long-range air defence mission are given to RMAF(which has MiG-29N at its disposal). priority right now is something in between(medium range surface to air missile system). it's still under study though

it has it's flaw but malfunction is the least prob one can find from most "soviet" weapon system.

as for T-72, it is not a "tank" per se, but a whole generation of tank. even T-90 is technically included into big T-72 family. it's all depends on what specific model actually. some T-72 are being equipped by the best protection system on earth, while others have to settle on it's bare alloy armor. Them middle eastern T-72 model are usually what military observer calls as "monkey model" (google em). so far the only genuinely quality T-72 variant user in middle east are Kuwait with their M-84

our PT-91M is comparable to the T-90S (the one indian army is using).
