Regarding Sabah current issue, government should have a clear stance on it.

I do appreciate and glad that our armed forces are not "trigger happy" type compared to some other country and seek to end this without bloodshed, but if this is not handle properly, it might result in absurdity.

If this sets a bad example, it could have a many kinds of impact in the future.

Oh ? Perhaps you should also start doubting the loyalty of PDRM for allowing illegals to stay, the loyalty of the Immigration Dept for giving illegals PR, the loyalty of TLDM in letting their boats get through our borders & reaching the shore, the loyalty of the Home Ministry in down playing the issue.

You may also wonder where the loyalty of LHDN is, for allowing illegals to live tax free. How about the loyalty of Petronas in supplying anybody with $$ fuel to get in and out of M'sia etc etc etc

sheessh.

What you really should be concerned about is how Sabah-ans feel regarding their porous border. The danger is not only armed people coming in, but kidnappings going out.

the armed forces are loyal..but they don't have enough assets to patrol all the maritime border..modern frigate and corvettes that we bought are use for Spratlys i guess..for police and Immigrations, you're rite and i can't deny, they are corrupted for sure..sorry if what i said before was offensive..why not we send the Territorial Army (wataniah) to Sabah? btw, i thought immigration issues in Sabah and Sarawak are handled by the state government themselves..

USAF to test RAAF top fighter pilots
By Australianaviation.com.au | 19 February 2013 Tuesday | 3:20 pm

A brace of USAF F-16 fighters has arrived at RAAF Base Williamtown to participate in the RAAF’s Fighter Combat Instructors’ (FCI) course.

The aircraft, which are based at Eielson AFB in Alaska, are painted in dissimilar combat markings and its pilots are trained to mimic those tactics used by potential adversaries.

Commander Air Combat Group AIRCDRE Tony Grady said: “To be a Fighter Combat Instructor, you need to have attained the highest level of leadership as a fighter pilot to even qualify for this course, so the training is very highly regarded.”

To this end, the USAF F-16 unit also possesses some of the USAF’s best pilots.

officials have formed a tight security ring around the village, media

Deftech buys CTRM from MOF

KUALA LUMPUR: DRB-HICOM Bhd is expanding into aircraft composite components design and manufacturing via the acquisition of Composites Technology Research Malaysia Sdn Bhd (CTRM).

DRB-HICOM, through DRB-HICOM Defence Technologies Sdn Bhd (Deftech), is paying RM298.3 million for a 96.87 per cent stake in CTRM from the Minister of Finance Inc (MOF).

The group said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday Deftech will sign a definitive sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with MOF upon satisfactory outcome of the due diligence on CTRM.

CTRM develops and produces aircraft composites parts, notably for Boeing, from its facilities in Batu Berendam, Malacca.

It also designs, develops and manufactures composite parts for aerospace and non-aerospace applications including those for the defence and automotive industries.

actually..sometimes it is pretty easy to slip by...coz the sea is like soooo wide....and we dont have sufficient vessels to sweep the sea without leaving a loophole....

i remember when i was on holiday in sabah couple years back in an island, they station 20 army there to cover the whole island..they go patrol with speedboat..but my 2 days there, i only saw them once...or maybe the other time i was in-door...but what i wanted to say is, there are times when the speedboat's sweeping elsewhere instead of location A, B or C...and that's when someone might slip in....

oh..and i managed to talk to a couple of the army folks with steyr also...but i didnt ask whether i can hold it or not.. maybe i shud at least ask..except their malay sounds different with semenanjung..so kinda hav problem having a normal conversation... sad.gif
