QUOTE(TruthHurts @ Mar 2 2013, 07:26 AM) So after Lahad Datu incedent, Are Malaysian Military will step up or remain constant ? I dont think it will be the last of Sultan Sulu landing armed party. Im waiting for the sulu to comeback in a few month or so. I think tighter control in the borders is warrants but would not be as strict as current condition. MMEA SOP will be review as I was been told. We will be looking for additional spending to increase the capabilities of our armed force in term of asset and base.

QUOTE(TruthHurts @ Mar 2 2013, 08:15 AM) Ask the millitary to get Attack Helicopter better. For situation like Lahad Datu, we should know what type of equipment is require for that type of condition since its already happen, proper gear is needed. Like at the shoreline and during night time. Military with Attack Helicopter will surely have the upper hand since like the current invader use Mortar to attack the ground force. And at Night can use FLIR to see and monitor their movement and position the invader has set up. Attack heli is always on military wish list. Currently tighten up the coastal lines patrol would be the priority. Btw certain VVIP have take a joy ride on Eurotiger in LIMA2013.

QUOTE(kerolzarmyfanboy @ Mar 2 2013, 08:50 AM) army should procure ground radar to monitor the seas.. coastal radar. I do recall we do have purchase about 6units of coastal radar back in 2007 IINM. I dun think it will be sufficient to cover the whole coast lines.

QUOTE(TruthHurts @ Mar 2 2013, 10:57 AM) Costal Radar and missile ???? The Armed men arrived to Sabah by small boats and equal to fishing boat around the area. How can a radar detect this and also for the missile is overkill and useless since how ATM handle at LD currently does not require immediate "shoot to kill" first but negotiation. ATM should obtain equipment best suit to the matter at hand. Fast boats, yes. Missile, no, Unless we go full fledge war with other country. For Sulu however is not. The sulu dont have tanks, battle cruise and jets. Attack Helicopter is excellent handling this matter compare to jets. Coastal radar were design to do that. We are also looking for Coastal batteries.

QUOTE(atreyuangel @ Mar 2 2013, 11:01 AM) Normal radar cannot detect small boats as good as precision coastal radar that built for that same as gap fillers! Attack Chopper is more for long term solution! Last time I always view Attack heli not important. but after the ops sulu. we really need 1 mang. 30mm chain gun a good suppression of fire and scare the shit on those delusional sulu.

QUOTE(TruthHurts @ Mar 2 2013, 11:09 AM) After the invasion, bloodshead and Sultan Sulu constant Sabah claim added other militia support for sulu .. it is long term anyway. Attack Chopper is a MUST !!! As for costal radar, there will always be a problem of detecting our fisherman boat and sulu fisherman boat. Also sulu fisherman boat with invaders or weapon for them to stash at Sabah. it would take at least 3 years to get 1. on procurement standard timelines.

QUOTE(TruthHurts @ Mar 2 2013, 12:28 PM) Still 90 people consider high and chance of getting shot will remain. But i wonder .. they are 200 people that came and 100 of those people are armed. Meaning at least 50 ~ 60 people in that 90 people holed up still got weapon. But then again the rest of those people may have small arm. I heard they do not have much member left. Many were caught during the first fire.

QUOTE(TruthHurts @ Mar 3 2013, 02:52 PM) As currently there is war at Sabah. Seems to me that our Security Force seems to have trouble with just the Sulu invader. The Sulu invader know military tactics and well trained. Meaning they have actively trained with each other at their own ground BUT Malaysian Military however sent nearly all of the ATM troops there having difficulty holding down a few invaders. I think Malaysia Govt should allowed (in a controlled manner) to open up an active AIRSOFT sport in Malaysia. Its the best way to train some would be army men and some people who would defend Malaysia incase we would be invaded again and need reserved men ... (We have been invaded now .. huhuhuuuu ) Suggest to support the AIRSOFT Sport and we need to push for it. Anyone Agree ?? (please don't mad at me and tell it will be use by robbers.. huhuhuhuhuhuhu ) Currently they have elements of surprise caught our police and commando off guard. If Military on full control expect their advance will be gone. the only thing remains is what is the casualties and cost to us Malaysia? What will the politician view on our national securities, these is something no longer can be ignore by the politician of both PR and BN.
