QUOTE(habibz84 @ Dec 5 2012, 11:31 PM) If not done yet, look for the bigger slot opening in front / at the mouth of ur snorkel ( even with no Ralliart snorkel), in page 1, Performance section. For a stock car, the air slots are slender. Any accessories shop can widen ur slot for a small fee |

QUOTE(Damascus @ Dec 8 2012, 11:44 PM) Hi Folks, I am the new owner of Inspira 2.0E Genetic Silver. Google EA Autoworks, find Howie Choo. He owns a silver Inspira too. I have yet to fix those myself1. Would like to ask any of you experience folks on getting good LED side step plate with good fitting man in KL. I found this http://sopomotor.com/shop/index.php?main_p...6a689eaca65ab7c From the looks, it seems to have some plastic on it and I am afraid it would break from wear and tear. Any commends and recommendation are much appreciated. |

Opted for Titan partial set-up yesterday, group buy arrangements. Came home with guk guk guk sound at low speeds, heard at rear. Seen today after dismantling, that the left rear absorber rebounds very slowly after compression, thus making the sounds.
Richard told me the piston seal was too tight. They made good. Sound now negligible, a mechanic friend who later readjust my camber also agrees that there is no ground for concern. I can now appreciate why many opted for full set-up, that has many suspension setting possibilities. Improvement in handling seen even with partial set-up. Regrets? None |

QUOTE(bEErzerker.88 @ Dec 12 2012, 10:00 PM) i think ur ride is on partial set-up also right? apart from xc & matkela.. It seems the present trend with Richard n Wai Loong, Titan, is that they want 4-fingers gap between arch and tyre, in front. Mind you Wai loong's fingers are rather slender.anybody else on partial set-up? 2-and-a-half fingers at rear, just to make the lower side-skirts parallel to the road. Balanced look , they say. I asked for front-dip stance, crouching like. Also a softer damping rate so that it is more comfort-biased. So my front becomes 3-finger + a bit, rear close to 3 fingers. Not to confuse the issue, i am on 215/50/17 tyres, XC on 215/45/18 tyres. So, XC is 3mm closer from his tyre to his wheel-arch, compared to mine. But tyres by different manufacturers , tho of same width and aspect ratios, may differ slightly in height Still, the choice of settings at Titan is anybody's. |

QUOTE(WilliamHoo @ Dec 12 2012, 11:37 PM) In the end, still a small negligible sound on uneven roads when driving at 10-25 kmh. . At speed upwards of that i cannot hear the sound. I have yet to test with a passenger/passengers in the rear tho.Front no unwanted sounds. |

QUOTE(aminmh @ Dec 13 2012, 11:06 AM) hi matkela, enjoy your new ride! Thanks Amin. Titan has put a nett lowering of about 12 mm ( 0.5 inch) to my ride. My front should be 10 mm lower, but i should not complain with partial set-up. Ori springs i was told are 5/3.5, whilst urs 7/5 la, 8/6 la ( any combination can do)its ok to have 3~4 fingers gap.. your suspension needs sufficient travelling so that not easily bottom out.. what happen to the lowered spring u used last time? if the spring a bit stiffer maybe u can use the spring instead the oem spring to make it firmer ride and a bit lower... my humble opinion. Lowering springs are still in my store. No interest to use them. Anybody want them RM 200 only, made in Malaysia by IMP. |

QUOTE(aminmh @ Dec 13 2012, 11:36 AM) hopefully now the car is more 'behave' n in control rite... i fully understand what u r trying to say. Thanks. Guess i am not that adventurous at the momenthehe.. if i have the lowering spring maybe i try to use the lowering spring and replace the rear oem spring which is too soft.. u can still try it out during the free fine tune stage. dont adjust the damping, just swap and try out the spring only. if my feelin is rite, the lowering spring will be a tad stiffer than the oem and increase firmness a bit on the rear but will not effect too much on the comfort but in return slightly better cornering and handling too.. |
