I heard Otter for Note2 use better rubber quality than S3 and Note1. Don't know whether true or not.
The Commuter hard case also been re-design.

In comparisons,  iphone has bigger volume and it provides bigger market for case makers. This is a fact.

But black and white are 2 of the more popular choices. And I'm happy with my White otterbox. :-)

Otterbox makes the phone bulky. Note2 enough bulky alrdy.. Prefer slim and most importantly, protects all sides coz i have bad experience with scratches on the sides on samsung phones.

I called celcom already, but they said its the problem with the phone, and its nothing to do with them.

Note2 already bulky even without using any casing (naked). If you really want to use casing then better use something that gives total protection.  Otherwise leave it naked...lolz

Seems the rubber shrinking problem is only happening on SGS3 Defender on their color series . Black dont seem 2 be having it . Hope they fix it cuz OB is really a good case and durable .

I rooted my note 2 in less than 1 min. Dunno how more simpler you want it. 

That is quite a bias & a very generalized statement bro . Most shops r selling it lower than RRP except SEP . Does that mean we have to be careful of all of them .

anybody could share how much bigger would the otterbox casing add to the note 2 already big size? height/width/thickness

Not recommended. Your charging time will be much more slower (5 hours +) than normal (2 1/2 hours++).

Use original thing given in the box.
