QUOTE Malaysia recently announced the awarding of the LTE spectrum to 8 telco players (or rather 7 telcos and 1 crony) for Band 7 of the LTE spectrum.

Well, Maxis (and likely other celcos shortly) just announced completion of LTE trials, and the CEO actually said something like "if you get no 4G just fallback to our HSPA/3G". So I suppose in Malaysian terms, "wait and see" ???
2 years before it all picks up good steam? So N7100 is completely fine for now, and by the time we want "resale value" it will be irrelevant, when Note 4 with a much better radio will be available.

QUOTE(DigitalKL @ Dec 14 2012, 04:03 PM) thanks for that info. where/how do i check to find out what N71xx is it? All SME sets are N7100. Rebooting the phone will show you whether it is N7100 or N7105 on the boot screen. Seems you can buy some AP 7105, or go Singapore but not sure if SG's frequency can be used here.
