haha .. .actually if u notice well, his photo shoot during low light, iso was set to 100, less noise produced. That's why it looks nicer. He is playing with the setting ...

Some of my daily settings are:
1. Off pin code when I am connected to wifi @ home and turn on back when I am out of home
2. Turn on GPS when i on GPS navi apps
3. When wifi connected, mobile data turned off and vice versa
4. Auto turn on WiFi and off at home

Using MobileOdin..root intact..Chenglu CWM intact..everything went smoothly. Booting up take some time..i thought stuck on boot already...lolz.
The homescreen looks funny..like stripe blackcurrent peanut butter

You're using MobileOdin Pro or Lite one..?
I'm using the Pro one and everything went smoothly. Just let all inside the Everroot section enable/tick so your root will preserve. 
If you're using Chenglu or any custom CWM and you also wanna keep it then make sure you clear your Recovery section inside MobileOdin so that it wont overwritten with stock recovery when you flashing that 4.1.2 stock firmware.

Stock firmware always has bloatware - apps offered by Samsung which some users never used such as Samsung apps, Samsung hubs, Kies wifi, wifi direct, etc these I always uninstall

all 'unwanted' applications which is provided by carrier...

any1 noticed the cable that comes with Note2 doesnt fit in the phone nicely?

if u choose white of course the whole package is white.. .cable, charger, earphone lolx... if titanium grey then black colour charger, black cable ,etc if not mistaken

Replace the your current samsungIME.apk in /system/apps with the one in the zip file, set correct permission and reboot. Advise change default keyboard to other keyboard first before proceeding.
