actually i called their customer service last Saturday to check the stock status in JB and they informed me currently all out of stock until further notice from Samsung. Just now 5pm just passby Maxis Centre Danga Bay JB by chance and i just walk in to ask. If no, i will just pay my Maxis bill and go home. Din expect they actually have. The staff was actually quite secretive about the last unit. I heard them whispering "the last white unit? that one huh?". So I thought it might be a problematic opened set rejected by a previous customer. Luckily eventually it is a sealed set. And i just remember i forgot to pay my bill when i was on my way home.

Added on December 11, 2012, 8:49 pmwithout SPen, i won't be so hesitate to use a touchscreen phone without SP. No matter what gorilla or gozilla screen, even if it is make of steel plate, prolong scratching with a plastic tip will definitely scratch the screen in long run.

really hard to hunt for one. The Maxis helpline does not help at all - they just told me last Saturday everywhere out of stock until further notice from Samsung but i still manage to grab one last white unit at the JB Danga Bay branch yesterday late afternoon. It is also my second unit - for my wife's Chistmas present.

no wonder.... please update your OS to at least Windows 7 to be in line with your latest gadgets.

your thought is like - you take out the basket full of groceries in your car boot, then you modified the engine. Then you put in a new basket to accommodate your new groceries. If the modified engine got problem, you take out the second basket and put back the original first basket. Does it make any sense?

even if swapping hard disk, if you are not swapping the system OS drives, does it make any difference?

It is not a dock actually. It is a desktop battery charger with a slot for you to hold the phone in upright or horizontal position.

where do you get this info from? yes, i hate the white charger and white charger which come with my titanium grey.

i think from RM400-600. Heard a few different pricing.

i think derrickmoo is selling the original. I have not bought one since i am getting the AllCast dongle which includes an original charger. But someone here should have bought one from him. Let's wait for his comment.

not detachable should not be a problem for me. I can just use it to pair with the desktop battery charger permanently. Got 2 3-pin power plug from my 2 sets of Note II - one power plug at study room and one in the bedroom, just nice.

Should be quite a long wait - 3-4 weeks i think.

walao eh.... 6.3" a bit over lah... reaching the 7" Nexus 7 / Tab 7.0. But i will still consider if the specs are great.

Btw, just applied XOskin to my wife Note II yesterday night. Later can play with it already after leaving it alone to cure for 24 hours. Time to root and get a custom rom in it.

there is rumour the 5100 is a 7" Note. Yes, just got Nexus 7 32GB WiFi for a while, the size and weight is just nice for prolong reading. Easy to carry around too. A 7" Note with SPen will be a great device.

Added on December 13, 2012, 8:47 pmeasy pocketible is one thing, holding it at your ear to talk (like a boss?) is another. I tried fitting the Nexus 7 into my office slack and no problem. But i can't imagine myself holding it as a phone to my ear.

I bought Nexus 7 mainly for the price and size and that it will receive the latest android update fast. Note 7.0, if it is true, will definitely be expensive for sure, anytime double the price of Nexus 7.

no need ask, no one can answer you. It is out of stock everywhere. Even i called the Maxis customer service helpline last Saturday also been informed they do not have stock until further notice from Samsung. But I still manage to grab one from JB centre 2 days ago. So you have no choice but to keep walking in as many Maxis Centre as you can to hunt for it if you really want to get one.

there is a small trick if you have the MHL adaptor. After you connect the Note II successfully to the MHL adaptor and output the screen to a HDMI device, it will activate the landscape mode, even after you disconnect the MHL adaptor. But the landscape mode will disappear after a reboot until you plug it into the MHL adaptor again.

Waze is useless in navigation. It is only good for real time traffic update.

Omega V8 is released. Can't wait to flash it into both Note II tonight.

manage to activate Google Music with a VPN. Now i can store up to 20,000 song on to the cloud.

Just finish flashing 2 x Note II and 1 x S3 with Omega latest ROM.
