How come ? Isnt the build for NP8130 and NP8150 the same ? Except that when u purchase NP8150, u have the default 180w instead of 120w for the NP8130? All we need is to upgrade the PSU isnt it ? Maybe to a 220w if we r getting ATI7970 or a GTX680M ? |

PSU unit is at least 180w for NP8130 and NP9150 (220w for NP8170) |

I think it would be awesome if illegear could offer something like OriginPC's custom panel.

Hello Prince J,
I have further inquiry regarding R-11. In comparison of CPU i7-3610QM against i5-3210M, what is expected the battery life difference under Optimus mode for standard surfing/Office usage. Many thanks for your feedback. |

They both have similar battery life and temps at idle, but the i7 will have higher temps and power consumption under load. |

Thanks for your prompt reply. They both have similar battery life and temps at idle, but the i7 will have higher temps and power consumption under load. I'm wondering why there is no option to choose CPU i7-3612QM. This CPU has TDP 35W against i7-3610QM with TDP 45W. I think i7-3612QM will run longer battery life and possible cooler as well. |

QUOTE(Prince J @ Sep 11 2012, 12:07 AM) Hi Thanks for sharing your idea. It has been a hot topic since the first day NP6110 came out from factory. Why did Sager choose i7-3610QM and i5-3210M? Because they can fit two different markets at different prices. i7-3612QM is something in between, quad core and low power consumption. It seems to be the best choice among these three. However, in term of gaming usage, it is not the case. By choosing i5-3210M, I can enjoy higher clock speed at the same power consumption and lower price comparing to i7-3612QM. By choosing i7-3610QM, I can enjoy higher clock speed at the same price and higher power consumption comparing to i7-3612QM. Sager can perfectly serve two markets by offering these two processors. If you want dual core, go for i5-3210M, if you want quad core, go for i7-3610QM. |
