as for me, the thing that bothering me is to choose between re-15 and the upcoming clevo w230st.

both equipped with the same spec. i plan to get w230st but wonder how does the heat management inside. as you can see from the pics of w230st, only one exhaust from the whole notebook, as opposed to re-15, got 2 standalone heatsink and fan for both cpu n gpu.. if w230st cooling system is good enough, i wont think any longer and get pre-order from illegear asap..

the w230st design is indeed very nice. much better than AW14-r1 lol..

Yes, I understand how it works, however, in reality, can you really see the difference? Is it -obvious-? Viewing angle is obvious though.

If switch from TN to IPS, then the difference is kinda noticeable.

if lets say the IPS panel response time is 6ms, then it is likely unnoticeable. if it is 8ms, there are some minor visibilities. if more than 9ms, ghosting effect is obvious.

IPS screens nowadays are built with lower response time (max 5ms). so no worries about ghosting effect though.

Exactly, most ips models these days are 5-6ms, compare that with TN 2ms is really difficult. Never seen any diff.

RE-15 and RE-13 are the same, equipped with only 1 heat sink and 1 fan for the system.

What I love about my Vaio compare to the W230ST are the smooth touch pad, the weight(ligther and with a smaller compact adapter), switchable GPU, and the design.

What I like about the W230ST are the Quad Core CPU, 2x superb performance of the GPU, and the FullHD LCD.

I just love to have a lightweight laptop that can play games at a good eye candy settings whenever I wanted to, even though I rarely play games nowadays.

I'm waiting to see how good can the GTX 765M memory be OC.
This GPU is Heavily bottlenecked by the slow memory.
If this GPU memory can be OC to 1500MHz(from 1000MHz), it will surely fly!
