QUOTE(Irzani @ Apr 7 2013, 08:33 PM) they can last long if you take care of the laptop, no matter what brand you are.the 2 option suggested is because i see most adults rarely play games. with that kind of price, they can get an affordable large sized laptop for entertainment mainly. EDIT - Prince J, when will the new NP9570 released? or so called 'RZ-17'? This post has been edited by raymondtong94: Apr 7 2013, 10:58 PM |

Maybe you can choose 2 years coverage first during the purchase and request for extension when you think you have some extra bucks? I hope Prince J can arrange that for us |

Hi Prince,
I am thinking of getting an Asus G75 or RS-17 from Illegear. I have a few questions though. 1. For either computer, I will need to get an OS, either Win7 or Win8. Is the OS supplied OEM or retail (Can I transfer the license to another computer if the laptop died on me & I needed to buy a new one)? I understand that OEM license cannot be transferred to a new laptop. 2. I saw some Clevo/Sager reviews on a similar laptop to the RE-17 & they were talking about keyboard lag. In the event I face this problem, would this be covered by the warranty? I'm planning to use this laptop for work & gaming. 3. Both laptops are heavy, but can they stand up to being moved around on a daily basis? How durable are they? & no, I won't be using it as a basketball but I don't want a laptop that doesn't travel well. Weight isn't a problem. 4. The RE-17 looks really nice but the NVidia GC is a little pricey. Could I down grade to an cheaper NVidia GC & later upgrade? Thanks, |
