cores are the number of cores your processor have. your i7-4700MQ is a quad core CPU.

Hi Sharks,

Which game were you playing?

Playing Dota 2... Was wondering if it's normal... Recently reached 70 degrees + (CPU) .... But I shouldn't be worried since it's normal right? sweat.gif

So far RS-15 is serving me well with its slim design and custom fully body paint job left the impression of stealth look more than i expect it to be.

They won't notice difference from normal 15''6 inch unless i turn on the backlit features on or gaming lol.

the 95% matte screen is nice as well.
should do professional color calibration in the future seem abit yellowish side(Too used to U2312HM blue-ish IPS screen ww)

full review will be up as soon as i have time to compile them all ahaha

Did you tried to use the other RAM inside the defect slot? Could be the RAM and not the slot thats the problem.

Just try again.

If you are sure that the slot is the problem, the only way is to send it back to them to claim warranty or do repair.

Hi,

You can RMA the ram with us, kindly send an email to support@illegear.com with your serial number.

By the way, if you could please do cleaning with electronic contact cleaner first.

You are aware that if you're used to blue-ish, it means that you're most likely used to a non-accurate colour right?

Most screen panels tend to be programmed to be more on the blue side because on first glance it's attractive and catching, which is the case with most Samsung AMOLED phone screens as well. You'll actually find most screens becoming more yellow once it's being calibrated, just do a quick Google and you'll see a lot of people wondering if their screen is supposed to be that yellow. LOL.

Rather discuss about the screen color calibrated issue is rather more on personal preference.
plus i am more used to IPS Panel for home entertainment.

I didn't say i like blue-ish but i use this laptop as replacement for my desktop as i am living in places nowadays.
but i prefer same feels when using the desktop to be in my laptop.

Like others said, after calibrated display looks warmer than default Windows color profile.

Oh okay. I know what you mean, used to one, and then when view else where it's different again. LOL.

Best to just calibrate your laptop's screen and desktop's monitor with the same device and adjust from there, then you can in additional to calibrating the colours, manually set the colour temperature as well to have it on the cooler scale of the kelvin chart then.
