i had stated before that im waiting for maxwell architecture or perhaps you dont know cuz its still a year away from maxwell.
so i will be ordering next year.

the lid seems like is painted along with the brushed aluminium looks, but the smooth gloss still can be seen. nice job.

haha, you are correct about that but before i start my work at an IT shop, i had done lots of homework. so, i had the feel that i shouldnt follow my supervisor's words because some of the product specs that he told me is just like telling me to cheat my customers.

just sharing my work experience at an IT shop, i am about to argue with my supervisor that the Dell S2440L monitor is not an IPS panel but a VA panel. he just keep telling me that it is an IPS panel, but i was kinda like wtf, a supervisor doesnt learn about specifications of products? i had told him that Dell listed the specs wrongly, so it is definitely not an IPS and even there are numerous peoples out there saying that this monitor is not an IPS panel but instead he teach me how to identify IPS panel, with the stupid ultra wide viewing angle concept. i wanted to tell him, 'bro, i done my homework before i could share something or talk. what about you explain to me the monitors that have ultra wide viewing angle, like Samsung monitors do? are they IPS?' but instead, i just say OK i got it, and in myself im telling him, 'good luck with your IPS bs. when customers complaint, dont say that i dont give acknowledgement.'

i also dislike when im quoting a PC, my colleague suddenly barge in and quote for me.
i really wanted to F him, 'i know how to quote a PC, OK?! stop treating me like im a freshman in quoting PC. i have 6 years of quoting experience before you please.'

yes. everything is jacked up. i think this is due to the release of haswell, newer generation graphics cards and the price jack for USD.

i personally prefer glossy because the colours are more beautiful, and even more beautiful with IPS screens. Dell S series IPS monitors are glossy but they arent hurting my eyes.

EDIT - no matter if my laptop comes with matte screen, as long it satisfy my personal colour test, im okay with it.

deciding to purchase illegear rs-17 with some basic specs, then upgrade the GC to the best.

not all IPS panels have ghosting issue. if they were said to have 8ms and higher response times, then there will be ghosting issue. 7ms is acceptable, 6ms and below are the fastest response time on IPS panels.

XoticPC is offering HD8970M option for P150SM/P157SM and P170SM/P177SM models. when will illegear do this?

any 15.6" bag will do. just depends on how many things are you going to put.
