 No HDD activity light on casing if using SSD..?

Yesterday, I built myself a new rig.

I have a 240GB SSD inside a CoolerMaster HAF912 Advanced casing. I checked and double checked that I wired the front panel connectors properly, and I'm sure. But throughout the software installation process, I have not seen the HDD activity LED blink. Not even once!

Anybody else using SSD? Is it supposed to be like this?

Elite 311 + OCZ Vertex....mine is blinking. Perhaps your LED faulty?

Reverse the polarity.

This is not SSD problem.
Recheck your LED connection and condition.

No problem with me. They are right - its not an SSD problem. Connection issue.

 

Change to:
