jz need some recommendation...my ram slot on my intel mobo jz died..nw i cant run on dual channel..i plan 2get a new 478 mobo....does the Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000-G a good mobo for oc? i plan to get a mobo wic i can do some oc...cz been tired wif stock since im using intel mobo....its hard to get 478 mobo nw...onli ths new gigabyte i onli manage to find..izit a good grab? or i shd jz stick to my old intel mobo?? wink.gif

if u plan to OC then go for DFi & if u cant find any of em' at ur place, try get Abit mobo.. intel mobo dont have any OC features except for the latest 9xx series chipset cool.gif

i thought asus and abit are better overclocking board compare to DFI for p4 S478.


try search around for 2nd hand p4p800, is7e, ai7, ic7

nowadays 478 mobo is hard to find...like wat u guys mention dfi, asus, abit i ever thk of tat..but problem is cant find any...btw im looking for mobo wif i865pe chipset... sweat.gif

Wait a min. U should go for it. In low yat( I know u are in Miri but here I want to mention that they still got a good mobo sell). Go for ASUS P4P800-X. It has some sort of tecnology call HyperPath that imitate i875p algorithme design. It has overclocking ability too which I think better than Gigabyte. flex.gif

my proc is 2.4 wif ht..P4P800-X dun support HT...

for socket 478 its very hard to find new board especially in LYP. 2 week ago i bought IS7-E at IMBI. just lucky to get 1 i guess. maybe at IMBI they have oldschool stuff. try searching s478 at IMBI...

I try serching on the internet and I dont know it has SRC/PCI/AGP lock or not. Have anyone seen its preview in any hardware review or forum? unsure.gif
