Item(s):Planted Aquarium Dry Fertilizer

Searching the foods for you planted tank? Want to try a complete nutrient solution for your planted aquarium without burning a hole in your pocket? Try the alternative for your liquid fertilizer by using Dry Fertilizer instead.

What is dry fertilizer?
Dry fertilizer is the component used in your branded liquid fertilizer except that its in dry form before being liquidized to become liquid fertilizer. You can either dose the dry form directly into your aquarium or you can dictate the concentration of your nutrients into liquidized form and dose it into your planted tank.

Dry Fertilizer Macro Nutrients  :
1) KNO3 - gives K (potassium) and N (nitrogen)
2) KH2PO4 - gives K (potassium) and P (phosphorus)
3) K2SO4 - gives K (potassium) and S (sulphur)

Dry Fertilizer Micro Nutrients :
1) Plantex CSM + B - gives B (boron), Cu (copper), Fe (Ferum), Mg (magnesium), Mn (manganese), Mo (molybdenum), Zn (zinc)
2) Fe 13% EDTA - Ferum/Iron
3) Mn 13% EDTA - Manganese
4) MgSO4 - gives Magnesium
5) CaNO3 - gives Calcium, Nitrate

TESTIMONIAL:
One of the planted tank members using only dry fertilizer to grow green and lush HC!!!

A cost study for a 20 US gallon tank:
Let say that you are targeting 23 ppm of K (Potassium):

'S' brand Potassium: 500 ml, RM 50 ; dose = 33 ml weekly, duration =  15.15 weeks, rm 3.30 per week
'AV' brand Carbonate: 350 ml, RM 45; dose = 21 ml weekly, duration = 16.66 weeks, rm 2.70 per week
'A' brand B K: 250 ml, RM 55 ; dose = 24 ml weekly, duration = 10.41 weeks, rm 5.20 per week
Dry Fertilizer KNO3: 250 ml, RM 8; dose = 25 ml weekly, duration = 10 weeks, rm 0.80 per week

*It is apparent, the money spent goes a lot to the water but not to the nutrients*
