Phones sold in Malaysia are never locked.

Good morning all, just wondering if any of you can help me with this issue.

I am about to buy a nexus 4 set (seller got it from US). My question is, do i need an official receipt (Google's receipt to seller when he bought it from them) from Google if i were to claim warranty (should the phone break down or something)?

Man, a lot of people here sure are a whiny lot. Stringfellow has done as much as he can I'm sure (as in providing information that one could rely on), and I am sure there are some other information that was not conveyed to him. Why don't all of us just wait for the official announcement, since it is already RM200 less that the earlier rumoured price.

I noticed the ear speaker is very loud. And ya, anyone had any problems with messaging app notification after installing Deep Sleep? Mine disconnects from the WiFi when it is sleeping. Any way to get around this?

Thanks a lot kuntakinte. This is my first android after using iPhones for the past few years. The things that i can do with it is overwhelming, compared to iOS, definitely there are pros and cons.

Buying from google gives you the phone, the box, the manual, one usb cable, a charger an the sim ejector.
