QUOTE(weng98 @ Dec 14 2012, 09:52 PM) ya moreover there is not much different between ICS or JB (except project butter)android is so powerful, everything can solve with 3rd party software(themes+launcher) software update is not really a prob too, i read AOSP is much better... i never try it la but over the years, android devices price drop like no tomoro... like every 6months and this LG N4, if buy from US is really price proof since price already low but if buy from Msia... really hv to thing twice disclaimer: out of all android devices... i think Note1 price is still high |

QUOTE(pu27 @ Dec 14 2012, 10:17 PM) Yea I was looking for S3 & iP5, I was in a dilemma of choosing these 2 then the N4 announced. if u read 10 reviews site, 10 reviewer said N4 win... (LTE not in msia yet) For me, it's not so hard to make a decision out of these 3, it's a game changer! N4 price simply KO everyone with single punch QUOTE(Eddy924 @ Dec 14 2012, 10:19 PM) Indeed.. Sorry to disappoint u, Msia price will be 1700Just wait LG Msia to announce the price, if more than RM1700 then no need to think already straight away get from US. Or maybe wait and see any telco bundle it, then price might same or lower compare getting it from US and this is the best. I don't mind tie up with contract for lower price plus local warranty. Currently there is a trend wordwide practices, USD price matching Tat mean the price will be the same wherever u buy ur stuff... In this case... N4, USD349 is a special price for US ONLY Msia price will be match to Spore/HK something i learn from camera price QUOTE(Harddisk @ Dec 14 2012, 10:30 PM) but i set it aside coz majority of user is not TRUE MULTITASKER and most of the game/app simply unload from memory when u jump out of program i can always said ip5 oni 1gb, but u no need to be genius... everyone wan 2gb |

Dont worry Google hv official bumper for N4, u still can hv ur bling2 --- if s3 oso put on the bumper/cover... hemm... last time i saw 1 aluminum bumper with carbon fiber back for s3, very cool Added on December 15, 2012, 12:05 am QUOTE(herojack41 @ Dec 14 2012, 11:47 PM) a pure android ics/jb can even run on 512mb without a hiccup.... but u cant blame them, some of it look goodsjust phone manufacturer....bloated it enough then only release i recently try Next Launcher... and like it very much but it somehow managed to slow down my NFS MW... a drawback otherwise it will be perfect This post has been edited by lucaswjk: Dec 15 2012, 12:05 AM |

QUOTE(SnoWFisH @ Dec 17 2012, 11:59 AM) Yeap... Sony changed their stance to AOSP and hacker friendly right before their acquisition of Ericsson, hopefully they would continue this. In fact now, unlocking bootloaders, flashing kernels as rom installations are almost as easy as redsnow jb for apple devices. tat guy from CM really affluence... all hardcore and techie will have second doubt on Samsung from now on.After that read, I'm definitely staying away from Samsung devices. hehe Sony sure hv unexpected influx of support (XDA's ERD) due to this indirect promotion im actually hoping Nexus 4 will change LG, strengthen their mobile division and even out Samsung Mobile monopolism same same korea brand can easily kill each other |

QUOTE(TsQuan @ Dec 17 2012, 10:43 PM) just notice that the nexus 4 is a non-removable battery.. or put in your drawer for 1-3day, then charge for 5min to boot again and when your phone get freeze ,you need to find a way to solve it in case ur phoneis freeze: press your phone 10 sec to force shutdown (from XDA forum i read) |

bravo to stringfellow... since u r no talk oni and able to proof with the pix... u win --- QUOTE(Icehart @ Dec 26 2012, 10:19 PM) I agree with you. Even when I try to recommend to my friends for RM 1,599, they'll say better buy S3 at Rm 1,699. seriously N4 is NOT THE BEST phone on the market, oni 16gb, no external storage to top up... otg not working... battery not the longest... performance is a little bit better... ip5 is better n another 3/6months new phone will top it the oni thing they win is the PRICE and GOOGLE update... my rating: note2 > ip5 > s3 > n4 despite all this, i think i still pretty much like it but to recommend it to other... i wont lo most user are just casual user... spec and branding win... nothing more |

QUOTE(stormlcc @ Dec 26 2012, 10:55 PM) i'm exactly the opposite, i will only recommend a Nexus phone, nothing else. because 9/10 android users will complain later on that their 'flagship' expensive as hell phone don't have the latest update. i'll tell them to not whine when they don't listen to my advice if they bought a Note 2 or S3 or whatever phone other than a Nexus. either u listen to me, or be prepared to change phone every 1.5 years. unless u buy an iphone. then i'll tell them don't whine when they can't get any apps for free or they can't set their custom ringtones to it. it depend which market u r trying to sell...student or young adult the Google Update is ur targeting market then okay lar... but for general market... they wan big screen and big battery and big storage this is just logical... and most practical usages ICS and JB means nothing to them... |
