Sony actually now actively involve CM especially in kernel development, hey they even released their own tool for hackers to unlock the bootloaders. That's there's many Sony ROMS that has very good stability. Even Mini CM10 is available for my Xperia X8 which only has 128MB of RAM!

This has been mentioned many times.  It's incomparable.  Google has its own agenda for selling cheap.  LG doesnt  do charity, they have storefront and logistics cost, regulatory approval and warranty expenses to bear.  Don't count your last sen that you get anywhere near Google's price.  Be realistic.  RM 1799 seems to be the accurate assumption if HK price is used as a guide.

Else, you can wait for Google play to be in stock, speculated at xda to be early january 2013, then ship back and you can get your phone for no more than RM 1200-1300

Hi all, I'm new user of Nexus 4. Just want to share some of my experience after using just 2 days. Hope to gather some advise along the way too.

Pro:
- Very fast device (am coming from Xperia Arc S and i4s, impressed with its speed)
- nice and sharp screen (no yellowish or blue tint like iPhone, not over-saturated like Samsung)
- top notch build quality, phone feels high-end, not some cheapo plastic

Cons:
- battery life not great, indeed at poor side, cannot last one day (7am-10pm) even with just normal usage. I doubt even light usage won't last that long too. Feel i4s is stronger
- a tad too wide and heavy
- audio not as good as Xperia or i4s. I maybe more critical in this aspect, think most users will unlikely notice the difference
- camera not great, even worst than Xperia in low light.

Overall, not so satisfied, maybe i had high expectation earlier. For now, i rate overall experience 6.5/10

so many people would go for this... even with better specs.

Suree you can root, custom rom, everything, but that's like saying buying a car from bad company is ok, you can service it at any workshop anyway
For me, to whoever wants a phone, I recommend iPhone instantly, saying Apple is best will never make people's head shake, they will nod and agree.

I'll be bringing out the Panasonic Wireless Qi charger today to meet with Doomsday and test with his Nexus 4. Just to confirm once and for all that it works without a hitch, unlike the Nokia wireless charger.

Also, will be bringing this back from the States on the 9th. A good friend ordered and shipped from Amazon, for his upcoming Nexus 4.
