I bought mine from Carphonewarehouse in the UK.
Gave up on playstore. It's really bad here in the UK.
I stayed up to purchase, but the web couldn't handle it.
So I paid extra, since I doubt I can get it before December.

nexus 4 - if you like total google experience
note 2 - if you like big screen ( for me is stupid )
iphone 5 - a phone that is peace of mind, it just works
Lumia 920 - good camera...good display. thats all and nothing else

For me, iPhone 5 was attracting me is because their brand name, reputation, steady value and more apps compare to android, but now days, google play apps is slowly catching up..

I choose Nexus 4 is because the real google experience, I use a lot of google service, e.g. google maps, gmail, google drive, google+ and etc.. I think Nexus 4 can give me a better experience..

If I not mistaken, Apple is trying to be independent from google, if I not mistaken again, iOS 6 that running on iPhone 5 doesn't have Google Map.. I dont think they do it right..

I got some insider info that LG will release it end of this month retail price around 1799...but exclusive to digi for first 3 months...Dont know how true

How do you find the battery life of this phone?

I heard on the first few days the battery life is not bearable but it'll improve overtime of usage and it'll last for up to 10 hours ++ that is very good imo

You are right. The xda forum quoted many buyers in the 1-2 week batch not getting their shipment while those 2-3 weeks and even recently, some 5-6 week batch began receiving theirs.

I called up Google USA directly and the CSR says that due to sheer volume, the first batch was stuck in some error loop within the order engine.  He says my order seems to be ok now and if all goes well, should be processed by 6pm eastern time today.

Meanwhile, other international buyers in the xda forum complains of credit card issues due to google verification of billing and card address being different.  Some got thru, some were hit by the verification request.

As a search engine, its the undisputed leader.  As an ecommerce company, they fail big time,  should have outsource this part to amazon

this is my opinion, those who want to own google fon and cannot wait, juz go get this fon, no matter the fon is ap or ori, the fon is urs, so take care of it..
those who can wait, u guys can get this november nexus..google phone n iphone have the same 2 years cycle for major change in hardware n software..ip3g>ip4>ip5..all of it take 2 years for major change, same goes to google phone, nexus one>galaxy nexus..it took 2 years as well...so go grab this november nexus, n use ur current fon as much as possible before u guys go grab the next nexus..
